Im amazed that Lorne [Michaels] has gone so low. I had to watch a little of it, and I just couldnt fing believe it, Chase told the Washington Post. That means a whole generation of sheads laughs at the worst fing humor in the world. You know what I mean? How could you dare give that generation worse s than they already have in their lives? It just drives me nuts.
Its not just the current cast that Chase criticized he hasnt liked most of the most seasons of SNL.
Id have to say, that after the first two years, it went downhill, Chase said. Why am I saying that? Because I was in it? I guess. Thats a horrible thing to say. But certainly I never had more fun. I really loved it and enjoyed it. I didnt see the same fun thing happening to the cast the next year.
What I find even sadder is that everyone under 40 will sit through this filth and absorb it. We walk out. All those souls are getting loaded up by the evil one.
KFC really jumped the shark when they recently dressed up Reba McIntire as the Colonel.

Here is Chrismas Miracle(Shart the Ef)
If we see that SNL is winning we ought to help Chevy Chase and if Chevy Chase is winning we ought to help SNL, and that way let them kill as many as possible, although I don't want to see Chevy Chase victorious under any circumstances.
― Harry S. Truman
Mike Myers, Dana Carvey and Eddie Murphy were good additions to the SNL cast. Waynes World and Church Lady, LOL. Albeit a little lame at times.
Don’t forget Second City TV.
John Candy was a riot! Eugen Levy, Rick Moranis, Dave Thomas.. Martin Short..
I live over in Glendale, and I know that area of Encino enough to picture where his home was. I think we both had about the same reaction. What a shame...
I’d rank him among the top ten comedians I’ve enjoyed. If he did slip below ten it wasn’t by much, and certainly above 20th.
Because he died in his prime like that, it seemed like so much more of a loss.
I liked Jack Benny, George Gobel, George Burns, Carson, Bob Hope,... and it was sad to see them go. It was time for them to go. They’d never be forgotten, but it was their time. (I’d say Carson was a bit premature, certainly a surprise.)
Oh well...
What about “Fridays”. Kramer from Seinfeld was even greater on Fridays. I wish I could find some of those shows — they were better than SNL in my opinion.
“Norm was GREAT!”
Norm is a legend among comedians because his ‘give-a-f**k’ is totally broken. Dennis Miller is a fanboy or Norm’s.
“Chevy Chase Basically Hates the Current SNL”

SNL hasn’t been funny since the original crew left ...
Simply hilarious to this very day.. “Ask President Carter

Rush Limbaugh credited Chevy Chase with electing Jimmuh Carter with Chase’s iimitation of Gerald Ford falling all over the place (Geerald Ford had a tick knee from his football days).
The early years were great. Bill Murray replacing Chevy in year 2 was a step up. After that it became hit or miss along with a series of bad producers. And how was Al Franken/Tom Davis ever on this show? They bored me even long before I knew what a jerk Franken was.
Guys like Phil Hartman and Dana Carvey were nice finds along the way.
But when they fired Chris Farley and Adam Sandler, two of the shows highlights, I gave up pretty much on SNL entirely.
He expresses his ideas poorly, 'ya know what I mean?'.
No, Chevy, I don't. You have to TELL me what you mean.
I couldn’t agree more.
Yep. Or they bring Alec Baldwin on to play dumb and pretend he’s President Trump......exactly the kind of thing we thought was humor when we were in the 2nd grade. It really has regressed to that level. Its pathetic.
There was a YouTube video I saw that complained that millennial's have a really odd sense of humor, i.e. they would laugh at purely absurd combinations of words or actions like your example.
I agreed in the comments and was lambasted by the humorless millennial's.
They had no sense of the irony of the situation.
Trevor Noah, ugh. Not that I could stand Jon Stewart nee liebowitz either.
Everyone of these guys made me laugh till my sides hurt.
After year II when they were gone, so were the laughs.
