When press and camera crews from a number of outlets gathered outside her door — as a sexual assault allegation left the Supreme Court nomination of her husband, Brett Kavanaugh, hanging in the balance — Ashley Estes Kavanaugh delivered cupcakes.
According to at least one reporter, CBS’ Kathryn Watson, Kavanaugh offered up cupcakes from Sprinkles, a cupcake bakery in Georgetown.
Watson’s tweet spurred several reactions. First, people asked, “why are you at his house?” and criticized the media for camping out at his house.

We prayed extra long last night for the Trump and Kavanaugh families, and for the November election. (We keep wondering why God is letting this happen.)
The press have nothing to report, so they are reporting this. It is kind, it is tough, it is serenely confident, it is a refreshing breath of reality compared to a hysterical liar who can't keep her own story straight--and it is showing old-fashioned Christian kindness to your sworn enemies. The message will soar above the heads of the press jackals to the electorate.
Kavanaugh will win this, and the GOP will keep the House and Senate. Dang, that's a wife.
I can’t even imagine how difficult this has been for Kavanaugh’s family.
His wife is the town manager of Chevy Chase, so she has to deal with locals every day.
And Kavanaugh’s parents have been prominent members of their community for years.
Lots of local people in the exclusive MD suburbs know the whole family personally.

Often, one must honestly debate a raging leftist online not to convince the leftist, but to plant information into the minds of the bystanders. The act of being nice to the reporters is the right thing to do - and says good things to the reachable dem voters in the country, to boot.
