Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley on Tuesday raised the possibility that next weeks high-stakes open hearing to examine the sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh could be canceled if the accuser doesnt accept the committees invitation.
Grassley, R-Iowa, scheduled a hearing for Monday for Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford to answer questions from senators about the allegation. But Grassley said during a Tuesday radio interview that his office has reached out several times to Ford and her attorneys to discuss her allegation, but has heard nothing back.

Even Ford didn’t go so far as to say he raped her so stop with that line.

given dim history there should be 2 or 3 more accusers stepping forward about now.

Then you're taking a chance that Flake will stab the party in its back and refuse to vote to move this out of committee. With 'friends' like these, who needs enemies?

I will tell you what is a farce. It’s this country we laughingly refer to as a republic.
These hearings, and the Democrat’s behavior, along with their ass lickers in the media, and the spineless contemptible behavior of the Republicans demonstrate that the Republic is dead.
And it isn’t coming back. Not in this generation.

They're spineless and stupid. Honestly, the average 10 year old could come up with better strategy than the GOP does. I really think they want to lose. Unfortunately, when they lose, so does the country.

Al Franken was forced out over a grope of a sleeping woman. If he didn't voluntarily step down, he might have been expelled. Roy Moore would have been refused a seat for pursuing teenage girls. Bob Packwood, John Conyers, were forced out. All of them had a fair amount of proof behind the allegations.
Kavanaugh, not so much...

What exactly would be the charges in this non-event “crime”? She hasn’t said he touched her vagina, nor got anywhere close to getting her swimsuit off much less rape-rape. The door was locked but only locked to the outside so she was able to exit. Besides, it’s decades past any statute of limitations outside murder.

True. That's why I say that we need to push the politicians to either take the next logical step with no evidence, or back down and challenge the Democrats to do the same.

Grassley said his office has reached out several times to Ford, the university faculty sponsor for CIA interns, and her Soros-salaried attorneys to discuss her baseless allegation but has heard nothing back because it is all bogus.
