DEMOCRATS MOUNT LAST-DITCH ATTACK ON KAVANAUGH

Despite no evidence to back up the allegations of attempted sexual assault by Supreme Court nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh, the liberal media were eager to make them stick. Comparisons to Justice Clarence Thomas and Anita Hill were wildly thrown around along with suggestions those accusations were true. They were also hopeful for a better result this time. Disgraced journalist Dan Rather admitted as much during a Monday appearance on CNN’s Cuomo Prime Time.
Disguised under the illusion of seeking “truth”, Rather admitted that the character assassination of Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork in the 1980’s was what happened to Justice Thomas in the early ‘90s and Judge Kavanaugh now. “And what this is about, as was the case with the Anita Hill and Clarence Thomas time, as well as the Bork hearings in the mid-1980s, was all about,” he told Cuomo.
Clearly, Rather was not one to be interested in the truth. After being asked by Cuomo if he understood how the public approval of Thomas could increase after the hearings, Rather told him he was baffled. “I didn't understand it at the time, and I'm not sure I understand it now is the honest answer,” he lamented. He couldn’t wrap his head around the idea that people actually saw through the lies told about Thomas.
But Rather was holding out hope for a better outcome for Kavanaugh where he would not be confirmed by the Senate:

The Left’s outrage about so-called McCarthyism wasn’t about hysteria, supposed lies, hate mongering, fear mongering, abuse of power, police states, private blacklists/boycotts, or freedom of association. It was about outrage that fifth columnist Communists in collusion (knowingly or unknowingly) colluding with Russia were exposed.
Look at what the Left does these days and ‘McCarthysim’ is alive and well and in the Democrats’ playbook.
And none of it (academic,corporate,journalist,or arts blacklisting; character assassination; ginned up allegations of Russian collusion; government witchhunts; etc) will be covered in school textbook. Ever

In the early ‘80s he tried to bump my mother from her first class seat while she was flying from NYC to DC. He got nasty about it and started threatening her. She actually called him a rude bastard to his face. She called a flight attendant, showed her boarding pass and seat assignment. Mom demanded to see his seat assignment, he would show her. Mom informed the attendant that if she did get him away from her she would use a rather well known DC law firm to sue Rather, the attendant, and the airline for every cent they were worth. My mom was a red-haired, blue-eyed English woman and when she got that certain look in her eye you knew hell was about to boil over. My dad, who was a Ranger in WWII made himself scarce when my mom got upset. Luckily, that wasn’t very often. The attendant took my mother’s side and managed to move him back to his seat.
That little story just demonstrates Rather’s character. A Bully.
Sure it’s a hit but Republicans are taking it despite having the power to overcome it. If the laws of this country, which have created a great nation, are to remain as established Conservatives must retain the Supreme Court. Delaying a vote will only embolden liberals and bring them out in force at election time. Should liberals win the House, we will hear of nothing but impeachment, for what besides being unpopular I have no idea.
As is the violent history of the Deep State Left... what they cannot control, they seek to destroy.
