Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and the woman accusing him of sexual crimes during a party when the two were teenagers will testify in public on Monday.
The public hearing could be pivotal to Kavanaugh's confirmation, which was on a glide path until Christine Blasey Ford came forward publicly with her accusations on Sunday.

Isn’t anyone except me bothered that so many Republicans, including those on the judiciary committee, hid in their safe spaces? Such silence was deafening.
Schummer orchestrated protests at the hearing, knowing Feinstein had this in their bag of tricks. Someone is playing a lot of political games.
That may not mean that she ever taught a course there.
Maybe Stanford students could take her class, or students in her program at her school could take classes at Stanford.
Maybe she gave lectures or participated in seminars in courses that other professors taught at Stanford.
Academics like things like that because you can get "Stanford" on your resume without actually working there in any meaningful way.

I am really angry that Grassley gave her a week. It should have been done this week or not at all.
This is heresay as well. Dems might even use it to suggest how Kavannaugh’s “friends” are working even now to bring down their whistleblower. This sort of stuff doesn’t help Kavannaugh one bit, IMHO.
Dr. Ford needs to bring real evidence of wrong-doing to the hearing if she’s going to make such an accusation agains Kavannaugh. Put all burden of proof on her.

It is a story, which does not mean it is true. Is it politically motivated. The answer is yes.

Besides, it gives the good guys time to organize and investigate also.
If no one is confirmed before Midterms, Republican turnout could be massive netting us even more Senators + saving the House!!

Democrats are saying they won’t attend a hearing until an FBI investigation is done.
If Trump says it is okay, I trust him. Don’t be surprised if he has some of his own surprises up his sleeve. Plus, imagine the angst this is going to cause the Dems while they wonder what will come out about her during the delay.
It’s possible that Trump and team were smart enough to wait, and let the accusations build, so they can MAGA their a$$es!
