Natural born citizens are naturally citizens because they can’t be anything else.
If you are also Canadian, you may be a US citizen, but not a natural born citizen.

Ann Richards, a Democrat, was Governor of Texas from 1991 to 1995. It wasn’t that long ago that Democrats held state offices in Texas. At one time, a Texas Democrat was more conservative than a NY Republican...unfortunately, with all the new transplants coming in, things are changing and not for the better.

Everett Dirksen was definitely a moderate when he was Republican leader of the Senate, when he worked with LBJ to pass the 1964 Civil Rights Act.

I was a Harry Byrd Democrat in High School, College & Law School. I started working for Goldwater in December, 1960, but did not join the Republican Party until Strom Thurmond did also in 1964. Natural born citizens are NATURALLY citizens because they cannot be anything else.
They have only one nationality.
