Police in North Carolina on Friday confirmed the first deaths related to Hurricane Florence, which is bearing down on the Carolinas.
The Wilmington Police Department said that a mother and infant were killed when a tree fell on their house on Friday.
Police said the father has also been transferred to an area hospital with injuries. His condition was not immediately clear.
Hurricane Florence made landfall in North Carolina at 7:15 a.m. EDT on Friday near Wrightsville Beach, N.C., according to the National Hurricane Center.
Federal and local officials have been urging residents for days to heed evacuation orders and make preparations for Florence, which is currently a Category 1 storm.
3 ... 2 ... 1 ... TRUMP’S FAULT!!!
Hopefully, all the cemeteries in the area are well protected. Can't help but wonder if any corpses found from flooded graves will be included in the total dead. Ghoulish, I know, but I put NOTHING past the Dummycrats in their quest to remove President Trump and figure out how to put Queen Hitlery in her "rightful" office.
Media is thrilled. More blood on Trump’s hands cause he left the Paris Accord, or because he bet Old Hill.
Hey....it was a REALLY BIG TREE.
He can't get the media to stop their 24/7 lying about him.
They should not consider death attributed to a storm if people drive into flooded areas that are marked closed.
2,998 to go...
I love on the MS Gulf Coast and had a number of trees that could pose such a danger removed from around some structure...
Actually, it is “severe rainstorm” Florence.
I checked further on these deaths and cause of.
The tree that fell on the house that took the life of child and mother was gigantic with branches the size of tree trunks.
One man was killed when he tried to use an extension cord to hook up his generator while in water. He was electrocuted.
Another man dies when he lost his balance wading thru flood waters to check on his dogs.
Another person died from heart attack as rescue workers could not get through tree fallen roads in time to save them.
