Police in North Carolina on Friday confirmed the first deaths related to Hurricane Florence, which is bearing down on the Carolinas.
The Wilmington Police Department said that a mother and infant were killed when a tree fell on their house on Friday.
Police said the father has also been transferred to an area hospital with injuries. His condition was not immediately clear.
Hurricane Florence made landfall in North Carolina at 7:15 a.m. EDT on Friday near Wrightsville Beach, N.C., according to the National Hurricane Center.
Federal and local officials have been urging residents for days to heed evacuation orders and make preparations for Florence, which is currently a Category 1 storm.
After the politicization of Hurricane Maria will the Democratic Media Complex be able to capitalize on these deaths and will they try to expand the numbers of deaths 6 months out?
Will they now create a new metric to define what is considered a death caused by a hurricane?
Why did they stay and not leave?
This storm has been politicized from when it was just a butterfly flapping its wings. If there’s a way to blame Trump for a natural catastrophe, the left will do it.

I expect we won’t get an official death toll for months, and then it’ll be a wildly-inflated estimate to include every obese diabetic who had a heart attack within a thousand miles in the 6 months following Florence.

From the time of Creation this earth has existed because of a delicate and beautiful system called nature. Weather patterns, ocean currents and all the rest are of a grand design. Everything has a purpose. Humans with limited minds may not recognize the why’s and wherefore’s, but that doesn’t mean they have not. Hurricanes have been with earth from the beginning and the number and strength has fluctuated back and forth throughout history.
Why do we have hurricanes. I don’t know, but I can imagine it cleans and revitalized the swamps and low lands wherever it passes.
