Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., on Thursday threw a cryptic curveball at Brett Kavanaugh, insinuating the Supreme Court nominee could be guilty of a crime even as Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee seek to delay his confirmation.
The vague accusation comes after the Senate Judiciary Committee already grilled Kavanaugh and other witnesses and prepares to vote on sending his nomination to the full Senate.
A spokesperson for Feinstein declined Fox News’ request to elaborate on the lawmaker’s statement, but there has been much speculation that she is referring to a secret letter that has been the subject of intrigue on Capitol Hill over the last few days. A source familiar with the confirmation proceedings told Fox News that Feinstein received the letter back in July, but did not make its existence known publicly until Thursday.
The woman referenced in the letter has yet to be identified, but is being represented by Debra Katz, a whistleblower attorney who works with #MeToo survivors, according to The Intercept.
Despite the turmoil over the letter, a spokesperson for Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, said there is no plan to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation. Grassley set the panel's vote on Kavanaugh for Sept. 20 and Republicans hope to confirm Kavanaugh by the start of the new court session Oct. 1.
The White House attacked Feinstein's statment as an 11th hour attack on the nominee.
“Throughout his confirmation process, Judge Kavanaugh has had 65 meetings with senators—including with Senator Feinstein—sat through over 30 hours of testimony, addressed over 2,000 questions in a public setting and additional questions in a confidential session," White House spokesperson Kerri Kupec said in a statement. "Not until the eve of his confirmation has Sen. Feinstein or anyone raised the specter of new ‘information’ about him."

Feinstein sat with Kavanaugh, by herself, to discuss ANYTHING she wanted..and she didnt bring up ANYTHING relating to this..this is a tactic from the left to delay the inevitable..he WILL be confirmed, they know it, we all know it..and this just shows how absolutely DESPICABLE they are
The desperation of this does nothing but help Kavanaugh... ESPECIALLY since RBG said the other day that the process was better when she and Scalia were confirmed.

The Charges against Kavanaugh will be he helped Georgetown Prep cover up this priest scandal....That is why it’s been referred to the FBI and Justice Dept.

Cover up is always worst than the scandal....
Last week, I wrote in The Daily Caller about the arrest for alleged sexual abuse of Garrett Orr, a former priest and teacher at my high school alma mater, Georgetown Prep. That piece can be found here.
Shortly after the piece came out, I got an email from a former Prep student. It turns out that the abuse is wider than I thought. Orr wasn’t the only one.
Before getting to that letter, a distillation of my piece from last week. My point in that piece was that for the past 40 years, if not longer, there has been an effort by liberal Catholics to subvert, censor and generally eradicate orthodox Catholicism. (As Richard John Neuhaus once put it: when orthodoxy is made optional, sooner or later it is proscribed.) This has been done mostly through teaching on human sexuality. The result has been not just a loss of faith, but the abuse of kids in the schools — including Georgetown Prep, a place that otherwise does so much to foster community, faith, and brotherhood. The equation is pretty simple: if you teach young people that religion is all about peace and love and expressing yourself, and not about conquering yourself in the service of a greater, richer, freedom, you will get a religion that is bland and leaders and teachers who are more liable to abuse kids.
The email I received from the former Georgetown Prep student eloquently describes how liberal Catholics have corroded Catholicism.
An important note: I am not endorsing only exposing kids to approved authors and theologians. I have always advocated giving them both sides. What is so damaging about liberal Catholicism is that it has a totalitarian streak. In 2005 I made this argument in a book called “God and Man at Georgetown Prep.” Shortly after, a faculty member asked to meet with me to talk about the conclusions I came to. He also told me that he was meeting me against the advice of the rest of the faculty, and that any chance of me coming to the school to speak to the kids and defend my position was out of the question. Ah yes, the great Jesuit intellectual tradition: if someone raises an argument you don’t like, walk away and ignore them.
I have been given permission by the student who sent me the email to publish it here. Names have been changed or deleted. Two things to know: the Heights school, which is mentioned in the letter, is a fine and orthodox Catholic school. Also mentioned is Michael Rose’s book “Goodbye Good Men,” an examination of the takeover of the priesthood by liberals.

A former priest was sentenced to five years of supervised probation Thursday for fondling two students at Georgetown Preparatory School, where he taught from 1989 to 2003, as prosecutors compared the school’s initial response in the case to the scandal unfolding at Penn State University.

Yeah, I know; I went to an all boys high school too.
My point was that if she (or her lawyer)claims to have gone to high school with him, then she(or her lawyer) is a liar.
Although given the way this conspiracy has been put together, I have serious doubts that this ‘woman’ even exists.

I did things when I was in High School that I am not proud of. It would make for good gossip but not much else. Glad that I am not running for the SCOTUS.

And she is not alone. Hence the vicious fight to at least delay till after the mid-terms JUST IN CASE the derps take over and can squash all investigations and Kavanaugh.
