It's déjà vu all over again, in Yogi Berra's memorable expression: senior unelected FBI officials conspiring with the Washington Post and New York Times to drive a Republican president from office.
Kudos to Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit for spotting a 2014 State Department email from SecState Hillary's aide Sid Blumenthal that was declassified and released in 2015.
In it, Blumenthal states as a fact that Bob Woodward has been an "FBI asset" since the days of Deep Throat. See for yourself

I don’t know for certain, but why would a high level Trump administration official agree to be taped and subject himself to blackmail and risk ruining his career.
It doesn’t make sense.
If Woodward has recordings, he or someone else made them secretly without knowledge or approval.

I know this much - if ANY of this had been done by a Republican we'd have all the dirt... on the front page of the Post and Times.

You know, if you pause to remember, no one in America had a clue that the FBI is running our elections, committing treason/sedition, with impunity and coordination from the Oval Office. We didn’t really know this. Maybe suspected. But since Flynn was forced to enter a guilty plea to a corrupted Judge, there has been a slow but very steady release of facts showing the coup d’etat.
Anyone paying attention sees the proof of a coup. Just a few more releases and the Oval Office link will be revealed. Once Flynn is sentenced/or exonerated, he will be free to tell America the facts which he’s known all along about the anti-American Presidency before Trump. That’s what made Obama’s police state conspire to silence him.
Whether Flynn or anyone tells the story, we now have proof enough of what most of us Trump voters always knew: the end of freedom in America was one Presidency away.

I always wondered why they couldn’t come up with a better name than deep throat. Really?
Oh, it was clear who Woodward was pretty much from the beginning-—when Woodward and Bernstein were both lionized endlessly for a positively LEGENDARY and fearless feat of reporting,complete with a movie follow-up, that basically made the case that they saved America from whatever damage Richard Nixon could still do. This story was not pretty, but it was presented as if nothing remotely like it had ever happened in American politics before. The narrative continued on for decades and continues to this day, with Woodward still front and center, taking the lead in the ongoing project of getting THIS President out of office. Yet somehow Carl Bernstein is even more laughably irrelevant than Woodward.As careers go, he’s Art Garfunkel to Woodward’s Paul Simon.
