Donald Trump Ordered Illegal Removal of Braille Because ‘No Blind People are Going to Live in Trump Tower’: Report

President Donald Trump allegedly ordered an architect not to include braille in Trump Tower elevator panels because “no blind people” would live in his building—even after being informed that excluding the tactile writing system is against federal law.
The alleged interaction was recounted by Barbara Res, who led construction at the Trump Organization, in an opinion piece in the New York Daily News on Wednesday.
"What’s this?” Trump, noticing the small raised dots, reportedly asked the architect who went to his office to show what the residential elevator interiors would look like.
“Braille,” the architect responded.
Trump apparently demanded that the architect take the feature out.
“We can’t,” the architect replied. “It’s the law.”
“Get rid of the [expletive] braille. No blind people are going to live in Trump Tower,” Trump shouted, according to Res. “Just do it.”

That’s what I’d like to know. They can spare me the ‘fake news’ B.S.- either it was removed, in violation of federal law, or it wasn’t.
I *hate* the phrase ‘fake news’. There are facts. Data is correct or it isn’t, the source means NOTHING, confirmation means everything.
Did it happen or not, should be pretty simple and absolutely binary to know.
Let me get this straight: this woman alleges that Trump said all this stuff in the 80s or 90s so no other witnesses available. And she thinks he didn't really meant it if he did say it, which makes no sense. But she's saying so now specifically because she wants to generate negative press.
I think the story here is that 30 years ago supposed misogynist Donald Trump has a female executive on his team overseeing the construction of the crown jewel in his business empire. those are facts not in dispute and that's what I take from it. The rest is baloney.

I disagree with Rush in that the democrats are not unhinged. They are of course demented and haters, but they are not unhinged. It is their careful strategy to absolutely flood American voters with a deluge of lies unequaled in our history. They think that every little bit will mount up to enough votes to turn the tide in November.
It didn’t happen. The braille was installed. The architect says Trump didn’t expect the braille to be removed. Supposedly Trump was “prejudiced” against architects in favor of construction workers. What a bunch of nonsense.
Trump Tower was constructed in 1979, yet, this liar remembers a conversation from 39 years ago.
