House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told CNNs Christiane Amanpour on Monday that she is confident that Democrats will win the midterm elections on November 6 and that she will be elected Speaker of the House.
Pelosi added that while she did not want to talk about impeaching President Donald Trump, she also did not oppose the idea, if the facts are there.
Pelosi served as speaker from 2007-2011, the first woman to hold the post. She pushed Obamacare through Congress, infamously saying, We have to pass the [health care] bill so that you can find out whats in it. Her stance cost her party control of the U.S. House in the 2010 midterm elections.

I am sure he is too and not liking what he is seeing.
[Did she add You can take that to the bank?]
I hope so!
Second versesame as the first!
The booze bomber? Shed get (still gets?) a non-stop MAC flight to California, made sure it was full of booze, and walk off with all the bottles in her carry-on bags.

She was pretty cute as a young lady. Once she took a sip of power, though, she never recovered.
They promise to raise taxes only on the rich and put all the money into entitlement programs to go to the poor.
Thing is, the threshold for rich is surprisingly low. It works out that most folks that work pay taxes and watch the benefits go to an increasingly larger class of beneficiaries.
At the rate she’s going, she’ll be moving into John Hinkley’s old room before long.
Nor I. Like El Rushbo, I was trying to counter that horseshit, daily.
Yep!
She was pretty cute as a young lady.

Was that back before the war? And by that I mean WWI.
Not the Civil War?
That 1.6% turned out to be ferocious!
That's when the attempts on Pres. Trump and VP Pence will really become a serious threat
Impeachment and worse.
Yes I agree. Those rich liberals that complain they don’t pay enough taxes can always tick that box. Canada’s problem is so many live off the state. So phonies like David Suzuki only exist because of our taxpayer funded Canadian Broadcasting Company. National Magazine like Macleans also get some federal funding. There is even talk on the deep left to bail out liberal newspapers (which is pretty much all of them) that are failing.
On the American side of things, Michael Moore uses Canadian grants in some of his documentaries!!!
Canada basically funds Quebec companies like Bombardier and so corporate welfare is a big thing here. We also bail out, like you guys did, the auto industry. Which creates a real regional divide. The West gets nothing - no bail outs. But Ontario and Quebec get them.
This will take your breath away. My Grandma, god bless her, was a young grandma, so she married an American who was at least 20 years her senior. He died in about 3 years after they married and now she collects Social Security!!!
My father and step mom are one of the Canadians you speak of. They are not trust fund babies. They both were public school teachers, which make good money in Canada. So now have a place in Palm Springs. Both very liberal. They better keep an eye on Trudeau though. You never know. He could piss Trump up enough that Trump could really make things difficult for Canadian travelers. Maybe shorten the stay from 6 months to 4 months? As for taxes I am guessing the only American taxes they would pay would be sales taxes? Unless there is some property tax component on their place in Palm Springs?
Tucker kept talking about the fact the middle class became a minority under Obama. Could that even possibly be true? That would mean the poor class was the majority?
No. It means that the ‘low income’ group and the ‘high income’ group together outnumber the ‘middle income’ group. The terms aren’t exact. Here’s a discussion:

The fix is in. Poll workers and watchers man your stations.
Thanks for that. Yes, I could see how a discussion of this topic could be manipulated depending on what one defines as middle class.
Speaker of the house? No, maybe speaker of the funny farm, but not US Congress...
