Or they were burned out on her antics and happy she was off the streets .
i agree.
“So everyone in jail should get to stay at the hospital instead, if they ask?”
People who are having convulsions and vomiting need medical attention, even if they are in police custody. Did you really need me to tell you that?
She was arrested for unpaid parking tickets, but even if she was charged with murder 1 you don’t let people just die due to neglect, that’s completely unacceptable.
We are responsible for what we do. If we make ourselves into drug addicts that is on us. Addicts will do and say anything if they think it will lead to their next fix. Cops see it all the time. So do emergency room staff.
The Sherriff’s dept in my county has a diabetic die while in custody every few years. There have been over a half dozen dead in the last 20 years. All died because they were denied medical care after they were arrested. All of them would probably have been saved (at least at that time) if an ambulance had been called. Absolutely NO ONE has been charged with anything on any case. That kind of thing is just plain wrong.
Anyone on probation will try to tough it out. They don't want their probation officer to know they were using because that could mean additional sanctions, including being sent back to jail for violating their conditions of probation.
Parents are charged with murder if they fail to medical treatment for a child and the child dies.
This boy needs the baby Harp seal cure...
Manslaughter.
What about people with medical problems related to obesity? There are quite a few such problems that require medical treatment and/or drugs to keep them alive. And they got themselves into it, you know.
Hey! I spent a night in that motel...my heart goes out to the girl, and her family. I think I know the sheriff, too. Too bad.
Cops, well really government are just a bunch of criminals. My personal favorite are the criminals running the criminal justice system. Thugs with badges, robes, suits and ties.
Precisely
A person ... has a right to adequate medical care under the Constitution
Obviously youve never read the constitution because youre totally clueless as to what rights the constitution guarantees. But if you can give a paragraph reference in the constitution as to where adequate medical care is guaranteed, Ill revise my estimation of you as a DU troll who wandered on to this forum by mistake
EVERYTHING IS NOT ABOUT TRUMP!
How sad that you even have to make a woman’s death about Trump, if your world is that small that you can’t see past him, well, to quote your fixation.......”SAD!”
Save your drama queen act for the Kardashians, my point was valid.
I already gave it in a previous post and if you lock someone up for whether for parking tickets or murder and they have a medical problem in the jail cell and ask for help and you ignore it you are responsible, you can’t just say this person is an addict so I don’t care. They have rights too, troll.
The family may not have known the severity when they let her sit in prison. They may have decided that jail might have been the only thing to bring “their lawless daughter” to her senses but didn’t anticipate she would die over it. Had she even been arraigned yet for bail? Were the fines so costly that the family couldn’t help? The story doesn’t supply all the details.
Benzos, such as Xanax, Klonopin and Valium are similar. Even if you aren’t abusing them and using them as prescribed, you CAN NOT quit them cold turkey. Quitting benzos cold turkey can lead to hallucinations, convulsions and death.
Excellent post.
