Totally kills your liver.
I’m told it tastes sweet, that’s why animals will lap it up off driveways, etc.
Sounds more like a gag gone wrong than attempted murder. It’s not like anyone would confuse a mouthful of antifreeze for a mouthful of water. Maybe they’re weren’t aware of just how dangerous it could be? They may have been looking for a big “spit-take” reaction. I could certainly find more subtle ways to try to poison someone.
No one should ever cause a person to place a substance inside his body against his will. Unless it’s a vaccine, of course.
Antifreeze causes kidney failure if I’m not mistaken. A bad way to die!
They should be hung by the neck until dead!
Celebrate diversity...
I don’t know anything about Canadian law-but here in the US, adding prophylene glycol to someone’s food or drink is called attempted murder by poisoning...
A friend was bleeding his brakes into a beer bottle, which happened to be the same brand as what he was drinking at the time. He grabbed the wrong bottle and took a swig. He was in the hospital for 3 days.
Ethylene glycol antifreeze is very poisonous. It’s yellow/green color. Not used too much anymore. Supposed to be kinda sweet taste.
Propylene glycol not so poisonous . May be in large amounts. It’s red in color and most used today.
Also used in potable water tanks for over-winter storage.
I think I remember hearing that one Tablespoon of antifreeze will render you quite dead.
Ethylene Glycol will kill you in a heartbeat. Good thing that they had it on video because it is hard to detect unless you are looking for it specifically. (learned that on Forensic files.)
And a horrible painful miserable lingering death.
Sick stupid maggots.
There are worse ways to die but not many,
I had a Labrador Retriever that got about one lick of it and was sick for several days.
