GOP could end this buy scheduling an early Super Tuesday with primaries in states that matter, and threatening to not seat delegates from Iowa if they hold a caucus before that date.
I am tired of having my engine destroyed because somebody needs to win the Hawkeye Cauci every four years.
You mean that those who aren’t FORCED to use your product might not want to?
Too bad, so sad.
If the crap was genuinely useful, it would HAVE a market already, not a government mandated use.

GMO Roundup-Ready corn doesnt belong in anyones cereal bowl. (Or gas tank, for that matter).
The entire industry is a syphilytic whore who infects everyone she touches. Big Ag loves to portray themselves as little farmers, but they are among the worst crony-capitalists sucking at the engorged leviathans teats.
The problem is a greater volume of ethanol is required to be added to gasoline each year. The standard does not use a percentage of ethanol/gasoline blend but a volume of ethanol to be used each year. As we try to use less gasoline (more efficient cars) we are using more ethanol. Higher percentages of ethanol can cause issues for many cars. Also higher levels ethanol in fuel causes mileage to drop.
ok, lets get back to the start of this thing. It was enacted for energy independence, surplus of corn at the time and environmental reasons, trade of balance , and even saving the small farmer. And mostly because the taxpayer was tired of paying subsidies to farmers. Especially storage payments for a 3 year reserve of grain.
all good reasons and part of the reason we are here today with energy surplus. Yes, the situation has changed, yes, there is wrong info. yes, it is not perfect.
But the one thing I want everyone to think about is that reserve. If we don’t use the last bushel of old crop the day before the new crop came in, we screwed up.
Folks, there is no margin of error anymore. But at least with all the ethanol production we can convert it for human consumptions and forget our problems like they did in the old USSR>
I’ve just read some interesting things about gasoline vs alcohol for fuel. I don’t know if they are true or not.
It seems John D. Rockefeller supported prohibition so alcohol could not be used as a fuel in autos.
Anyone got info on it?

Corn in to your car’s fuel tank destroys the fuel system over time.
You want to get the corn content in your gas tank below 15% and hopefully below 10% toward 5%.
Wish I could find the excessive paper I did in college, nearly 40 years ago. It was about gasohol— the myriad problems it had and caused, it’s positive potentials and the tax breaks it was getting to try to make it a viable commodity. Imagine my surprise and disgust when the gov made it mandatory even tho those problems had not been overcome.
My new Troy Bilt lawnmower will run on 10% ethanol gasoline. But I go to Wawa to buy ethanol free gasoline for it and now it runs like a monster. I put ethanol free in my automobile when I am nearby the Wawa.
Wawa is known for carrying zero ethanol gasoline.
STOP BURNING OUR FOOD.
I put ethanol free regular in my 2015 F150 4x4 with the Eco V6. At 55 MPH it managed 30.9 MPG. At 80 MPH on the freeway, 23.9 MPG.
I had a 2003 Nissan Altima that I switched over to Ethanol free gasoline. My MPG went up about 18%, and the cost of the fuel was about 25% more. That doesn’t factor in the benefits of no ethanol damage.
