Several Russian media outlets, nearly simultaneously, began broadcasting “breaking news” warnings claiming that rebels occupying the last anti-government stronghold in Idlib Province, Syria, are preparing to stage chemical weapons attacks in order to blame them on the Syrian government.
The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the anti-Assad rebels were preparing “fake footage of chemical attacks,” while the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation announced that the “fake footage of chemical attacks” was expected to be delivered to various TV channels and Western journalists before the end of the day Tuesday.

A fake attack sounds far more plausible to me than that Assad would use them when he is on the verge of victory anyway.
This may be the Russian media, but on this one I believe them. I for one think the last so-called Chemical attack was also staged by the rebels. We responded to that with the bombing of a Syrian AFB. I hope we don’t get sucked into this one. These Rebels are capable of anything to include trying to use us to further their cause. Hope we don’t fall for it.
I suspect we might have a few assests in place to determine the truth when it happens.
If I were a Jihadi in Idlib, I would certainly now how to get the US to fight for me.
And it would be easy. After all, my CIA sponsors have given me everything I need. And the nation of Turkey is shipping it in, along with money, cameras, arms.
Out POTUS needs to be very cautious here. His own security apparatus is corrupt. Nothing they say can be trusted by anyone under any circumstance.

I agree. The supposed chem attacks by Assad just don’t make sense to me. I wish I had access to classified intel on the subject but it seems that DIA and CIA analysis at this point is in the dumpster so that might be of very limited value.
The office of DNI needs to be abolished and the DCI needs to be replaced with someone that will slash and burn until that house is cleaned.

It’s simply amazing that Eric Holder, John Brennan, Comey, Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton, et al, have so missused the USA’s intelligence community for their own political purposes, that patriotic Americans now have to actually give credence to Russian sources.

In WWI, the Germans had to use 1100 cylinders and 88 tons of chlorine to achieve the results Assad always gets with 2 or 3 cylinders and a few hundred pounds.
The attacks ALWAYS happen when our Syrian jihadi buddies have their backs against the wall and need some close air support. So they stage one of their fake gas attacks and we bomb their enemies.
It’s utterly shameful to support sunni jihadis on 9/11.
