A food truck owner in Detroit, Michigan says she won’t serve police officers or other law enforcement officials because she, along with the “majority” of her customers, “do not feel safe around law enforcement agents.”
The owner of Rocky’s Road Brew, Rocky Coronado, wrote on Facebook Friday that she is “well within [her] rights to refuse service to law enforcement agents,” such as Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Homeland Security, and local police officers.

a food truck handles cash money and food...
in Detroit, either one would suffice very nicely
for criminals to assault her and steal her money, food, and truck
without those cops she doesn’t “fell comfy” with,
she’d very likely and soon... “feel dead”....or at least, assaulted, battered, and without her money or truck
she is in, after all, Detroit
on the other hand, apartment managers LOVE to have some cops as tenants....
just parking their police cars in front of the building, as many PD’s permit for officers who have to be on fast call............. and the crime rate goes way down!
In these areas where the police are not liked, the police should adopt the same stance as the fire department. No patrols - just stay at the station and wait for 911 calls. I would love to hear how that works out.

Yes to the first part, and no to the second part. Discrimination is actually legal unless the “victim” was discriminated against due to his membership in a protected class.
“Occupation” isn’t a protected class, so it is not a civil rights violation to discriminate against cops (or plumbers, or college professors, etc.).

I can see a measure of truth in that but they aren't the liberals of that era. They are either gone or in remission. These are the leftists that replaced the liberals. Leftists are radicalized and just plain mean by nature or possibly due to their indoctrination in school and other places. Either way they aren't the same animal.
Heck; conservatives have more in common with liberals than either has with leftists.

The fact if the matter is that we’ve instituted a class based society and that MUST NOT stand.
Either ALL discrimination is legal or it is - regardless of any clarification.
As it is we’ve allowed black people to have MORE rights than other minorities and GAYS to have even more rights than minorities.
So it’s oerfectly legal to NOT bake a cake for police or even serve them but you must serve gay people.
It won’t work - it doesn’t work because the government is approving discrimination on other groups.
The civil rights laws MUST be rescinded.
She’ll be arrested for something. Count on it. And I’m not complaining either.
With all the cops gone, she needs to change her name to “Target.”

And these laws sometimes hurt the people they are supposed to “protect”. For example, people over 40 are a protected against age discrimination. So companies will often not hire older people in the the first place, as they would be difficult to fire.
I’m sure you have heard of Affirmative Action which basically put white males at the bottom of the list starting in 1961.
She will call the police and they will come running, God bless public service minded people.
