Nice sentiment. Awful singer.
at Israels magnificent 9/11 Memorial in Jerusalem. We mourned those who lost
their lives, hailed the courage of first responders
and committed to always protecting our freedom."......
David M. Friedman US Ambassador to Israel
After 9/11, a large segment of the American population developed the Stockholm syndrome. If the same relative percentage were ever to affect the Israeli population, the country would be lost.
Wow...that touched me, deeply. One of my dearest childhood friends was on flight 11. I hold Israel to be God’s land, and Jerusalem to be his footstool.
For my ‘sister’ to show this kind of compassion, is deeply appreciated.
Sarah is the mother of Kings, but the most important king of all is Y’shuah, our Messiah.
Shalom Israel.
Beautiful ceremony...very touching indeed. I’ve been watching 9/11 videos a good part of the weekend....every year I find things I didn’t know.... There were 230 million phone calls!.... The entire ‘command center’ (building 7) collapsed like the towers did 7 hours later. Just so much to grasp...
I listened to Norad and the FFA’S entire collection of live reports as they followed the planes.....which included Flight 11. Words cannot express when you hear the voices of the air traffic controllers and the military as they try so hard to get a fix on what was happening.....
The Israelis had no illusions or delusions regarding the source and intent of the attack. Their leaders did not gush how the religion and motivation of the barbaric terrorists was a “religion of peace”. They understood immediately. Never prouder of Israel when their leaders refused to join Obama and Kerry in their cultural suicide pact.
Don’t know what to say except the hearts of those who do that should find another country to live in. I’d be happy to see them leave.
..and your welcome.
...”The Israelis had no illusions or delusions regarding the source and intent of the attack”....
They know how to identify evil for what it is.
From 2009 - I had not heard of this. Good post. Let us pray for no more atrocities.
It was a very nice sentiment, and she is not an awful singer, but she did not sing what most of us consider to be the national anthem. She sang the Whitney Houston version of the national anthem. Whitney Houston was good enough to get away with breaking a few rules, but her imitators shouldn't even try. They should drop the embellishments and just sing the song.
