No “free firewood” yet, but Florence is on the way. NOAA/NHC puts the tropical storm force winds over my area sometime Thursday into Friday.

Ground is still so saturated that a gentle 1 inch rain over eight hours last night turned the streams brown.

Doesn’t bode well if Florence drops the 4 - 5 inches that some long range forecasts indicate.
