Senator Cory Booker's self-proclaimed "Spartacus moment" was everything but that. The truth will set him free, right? (video montage - click link below)

For some reason the one in the post goes to the very end of the video.
Ha, exactly. Just like Chuck Schumer.
You’re right. Of course it was staged. I doubt that Booker knew who Spartacus was until the night or morning before the hearing continued.
His comment was like something out of a play - he was acting like a dramatic actor who had rehearsed and perfected the delivery of the line. Him being bug-eyed during the delivery only cements that is what it was.
Booker’s no Spartacus. Spartacus had a brain.
Someone called into Larry Elder and told him it was more like an “Asparagus moment”
The “I AM SPARTACUS” was added by screenwriter Dalton Trumbo. It is not in the book.
Personally I like THE GLADIATORS by Arthur Koestler better. I have read both books.
Yeah, it was staged by Donald Trump!
The stakes were much higher for Spartacus. In his time, slaves could be killed for any reason. He knew, that if he lost, he would either die on the battlefield or be crucified. When Kavanaugh is confirmed, nobody is going to be nailed to anything.
The entire show is proof that he depends on deception and lies on a regular basis, because he’s good at it, and does it with ease. A Democrat for sure!
Spartacus? More like Dufuscus. If that was his moment to show hes presidential material he got a big fat F!
Actually Dooficus is better!
Anyone point out to this moron that the real historical figure of Spartacus did not do well, and neither did his followers.
But this would not allow this bozo the luxury of equating the greatest freedom loving constitutional republic of the US, with the pagan, dictatorship of Imperial Rome. What one would expect of someone with a “HBO movie/series” informed historical background.
So maybe a film clip from Kirk Douglas’s movie (not the fake horsecrap made up gore/frauds), send to him, and a few books to read. That Spartacus and all of his surviving revolt were crucified every 6 feet or so on both sides of the Appian Way from Brindisi (where the slave army was backed in to the sea and their pirate rescue ships ran away) to Rome some 350 miles.
Stupid self-appointed “victimhood” as a “slave”. Cory Booker? No.... he is a fraud and grifter.
I'm torn... between "Dooficus" and "Farticus."
Also the first "real" movie Stanley Kubrick got to direct.
Spartacus had hair.
