Mr. Rosenstein, What Is the Crime?
NRO ^ | 9/8/2018 | Andrew McCarthy

For precisely what federal crimes is the president of the United States under investigation by a special counsel appointed by the Justice Department?

It is intolerable that, after more than two years of digging — the 16-month Mueller probe having been preceded by the blatantly suspect labors of the Obama Justice Department and FBI — we still do not have an answer to that simple question.

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein owes us an answer.

To my mind, he has owed us an answer from the beginning, meaning when he appointed Special Counsel Robert Mueller on May 17, 2017. The regulations under which he made the appointment require (a) a factual basis for believing that a federal crime worthy of investigation or prosecution has been committed; (b) a conflict of interest so significant that the Justice Department is unable to investigate this suspected crime in the normal course; and (c) an articulation of the factual basis for the criminal investigation — i.e., the investigation of specified federal crimes — which shapes the boundaries of the special counsel’s jurisdiction.

The “crime” is not allowing Hitlery to ascend to her Throne, and as the “Adversary” who prevented this he must be taken down so she can be restored to her “birthright”

If not For Don, she would have Won

"My guess is Trump is waiting until after the Midterms..."

The dems never wait. They always attack and then attack more. Trump needs to do the same. He needs to have been on offense since the beginning. Fight back against their smears and be a pitbull for advancing his agenda, whether it be in the form of words (winning the public opinion) or actions (like grinding on his AG to get prosecutions rolling).

I, for one, am sick and tired of our side always playing the waiting game. That includes the tick tock "wait 'til you see what's coming soon" false alarms from so many.

In at least one sense, the current situation is much worse than how most people view what they've been led to believe is a "typical assassination" in the history of these United States.

If Trump were assassinated, the extremely likely "lone wolf nut" narrative will point to a designated fall-guy (patsy), but just as with the JFK assassination where Lee Harvey Oswald was so designated, many many people from within government actually conspired to make it happen.

Even now, there is a cabal of conspirators looking for ways to take out President Trump and keep whatever they would do covered up (for as long as they can foresee). It's very difficult for me to imagine how he's willing to risk going to the frequent rallies his people have recently helped plan for him. His security detail is truly second to none!

The measured initiatives and responses of the opposing team (of those conspiring to assassinate in this case) have stretched over centuries (think 5/1/1776, or better, to Hermes Trismegistus (see image below)), so President Trump's taking 19 months is well within the limits of a challenging US President's 3-D (5-D?, 12-D?) chess clock.

Trust Sessions. Trust the Plan... Until it is too late.

That, I fear, is the real Plan.

This was the constant refrain from the democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee throughout the confirmation hearing of Judge Kavanaugh this week - “the president is under criminal investigation”. I didn’t hear one Republican ask WHERE IS THE COMPLAINT/WHAT INVESTIGATION? Show us!

That is the one theme as to why the judge can’t be confirmed because he’d likely be sitting on a case involving a Republican president who nominated him for the seat on the USSC...

Wasn’t it Lindsay Graham who asked about - Breyer, Ginsburg, Kagan, Sotomayor - did they not come from Democrat/liberal presidents who nominated them?

You just can’t get through to these people. They don’t operate like the rest of us.
