(CNSNews.com) - At her Thursday press briefing, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi presented a list of issues and groups of people she believes will be on the chopping block if the Senate confirms Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
If Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed, Roe v. Wade, affordable health care, voting rights, common-sense gun violence prevention, freedoms of LGBTQ Americans, communities of colors and immigrants are all on the chopping block, just to name a few, Pelosi said.
And if he doesn't believe in stare decisis as established law, everything is on the table. Again, voting rights, civil rights, Brown v. the Board of Education. All right? she said.
Brown v. Board of Education was the unanimous 1954 decision in which the Supreme Court ruled that racially segregated schools violated the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.
Here is an excerpt from Pelosis briefing where she discusses Kavanaugh:
This week, the nation has witnessed the confirmation hearings for the most radical anti-health care, anti-choice Supreme Court nominee in recent history, a nominee who thinks that President Trump is above the law.
We recognize the right of a president to make appointments. We have a disagreement over a couple of things, in terms of issues and values and, apparently, there's also a disagreement about stare decisis. If somethings established law, is it established law?
But when you go beyond the various challenges, cases that come before the court and say the president is above the law and should not be questioned, he's far too busy to be questioned.
He didn't feel that way, in contradiction to his vile proposed questions that he wanted posed to President Clinton. I'm sure you're familiar with them.
If Judge Kavanaugh is confirmed, Roe v. Wade, affordable health care, voting rights, common-sense gun violence prevention, freedoms of LGBTQ Americans, communities of colors and immigrants are all on the chopping block, just to name a few.
And if he doesn't believe in stare decisis as established law, everything is on the table. Again, voting rights, civil rights, Brown v. the Board of Education. All right?
Our focus has been in--since his name came forward and he was proposed, on health care and Roe v. Wade, because they have such clarity and immediacy for the American people in their lives. And that might be a way to stop this nomination.
What if you gave a wake for the communities of color but no one came because they were all working.
Ha! The leader of the Segregationist Party is projecting again. Keep her talking, shes driving even more voters to the R candidates ! And especially black and Latino and Asian voters who are tired of being lied to and exploited by so many D politicians
I heard “chopping block”. Leave the nitpickery and confabulation to the Democrats.
She and her buddies said much the same about Trump.
She’s a keeper for sure! Waters/Pelosi 2020!
Roger Taney remained Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court until his death on October 12, 1864. He was a Democrat from Maryland, a slave state.
She didn’t say “chopping clock”
.
Chopping Clock...?!?!?! Is that a new product from Ginzu Knives...a clock that will cut meat, veggies and leather shoes for 3 easy payments of $19.95?
“The liberal elements of whites are those who have perfected the art of selling themselves to the Negro as a friend of the Negro. Getting sympathy of the Negro, getting the allegiance of the Negro, and getting the mind of the Negro. Then the Negro sides with the white liberal, and the white liberal use the Negro against the white conservative.
So that anything that the Negro does is never for his own good, never for his own advancement, never for his own progress, hes only a pawn in the hands of the white liberal. The worst enemy that the Negro have is this white man that runs around here drooling at the mouth professing to love Negros, and calling himself a liberal, and it is following these white liberals that has perpetuated problems that Negros have. If the Negro wasnt taken, tricked, or deceived by the white liberal then Negros would get together and solve our own problems” Malcolm X
LOL - YES he is...
How the hell can blacks in this country even consider these people normal
Give the poor woman a big round of applause - she constructed an entire sentence without drooling on herself.
Come on Nancy spit out “N” town you can say it

people of color: good
In other words, fetal murder right up until the child exits the woman.... and a few minutes after that.
affordable health care,
In other words, ruinous and incredibly-expensive insurance with extremely high deductibles, that you are forced to buy.
voting rights,
In other words, unrestricted Democrat voter fraud.
common-sense gun violence prevention,
In other words, complete and comprehensive bans on any firearm whatsoever.
freedoms of LGBTQ Americans,
In other words, transgender men walking into bathrooms with little girls.
communities of colors
In other words, black people who are leaving your plantation.
and immigrants
In other words, illegal invading immigrants.
are all on the chopping block
In other words, have to finally follow the law.
Your lips to Gods ear, and it's way overdue.
Gosh thats funny.
That’s right Nancy, play the race card . . . yet again.
