"I Know Who Wrote It". Michael Caputo on the author of a blistering NY Times Op-Ed

Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Michael R. Caputo says he knows who it is. The strategist and WBEN contributor says a woman wrote the scathing Op-Ed piece in the New York Times that has set Washington ablaze.

"I know who she is. It's a woman and I'm kind of cautious. My attorney is trying to keep me from saying her name" said Caputo.

He thinks it's an administrative coup. "Whenever this person decided to write this Op-Ed, they should have stood up with the courage of their convictions and quit, but unfortunately we have a coward in the administration's senior ranks" he said. Caputo, a former Trump staffer, said it's a name people are familiar with, adding ,"eventually she will be found out".

"If you read closely, you'll see it's very cleverly written. That's why the whole parlor game about who she is, is really entertaining". Caputo says the Op-Ed was written by a snake. "They use words like lodestar, which sends you directly to Vice President Pence. And then it uses words like off-the-rails , which sends you directly to General Kelly".

"The Times, I have my disagreements with", said Caputo. "The fact that it comes from a senior administration official gives it some weight. I don't blame the New York Times for doing it. They're certainly going to make some good money off of it".

Michael Caputo Interview: 10 min.

...

It was written by Obama’s fake composite girlfriend.

Kelly Anne was on Laura’s last night. SHe’s been very transparent, and really poo pooed this whole thing.

No way she would do something like this. She has too much respect for the office.

It doesn’t say CURRENT senior administration official.

Tucker Carlson says he might know who it is but will consult with the TRUMP Admin about it

All of this speculation as to who it is plays into the hands of the NYT and the anti-Trumpers. It is just another way to sow discord and division within the Administration. The timing is no coincidence. It is another distraction along with Woodward book

What do we now have going on? The Kavanaugh confirmation is on track. The economy is booming with new numbers coming out tomorrow. The Mueller investigation is foundering as new revelations have come out about Ohr and his wife and Trump is about to unredact the FISA warrant and other documents. And the midterms are looming ahead.

This is the latest push by the MSM to destroy Trump. It just feeds the daily frenzy of TDS.

Because it’s more effective in the short term and allows her to continue to have an effect. If she put her name to it she would not be taken seriously, as the media has basically ignored here since the book.

Being a part of the Cabinet probably doesn’t give you day to day access to the President that this op-ed seems to imply. Kellyanne, on the other hand, is there with Trump on a daily basis and has more direct knowledge of the inner workings of the Oval Office. Nikki Hailey spends most of her time in NYC and I thoroughly trust Sara.

The editorial is weak because NYT claims it was written by a single Trump staffer. That one fact makes the editorial almost self-contradictory. If the claimed level of dissatisfaction were true then multiple staffers would have co-authored it (or that’s how NYT would have told the story).

Have you read the op-ed? It sure as Hell sounds like someone currently working in the Administration. I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration. I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

One quote may indicate who wrote it:

"We may no longer have Senator McCain. But we will always have his example — a lodestar for restoring honor to public life and our national dialogue. Mr. Trump may fear such honorable men, but we should revere them."

See my post #114. Omerosa is not a current employee nor is she capable intellectually of writing such an op-ed.

“Elaine Chao seems like a very likely candidate. She probably thinks she is untouchable because her firing could cause problems for Trump with McConnell and the other GOP losers in the Senate. “

Works for me. McConnell has been behind a lot of the problems Trump has been facing. He is the leader of the “We Need To Get Back To The Way Things Were Before Trump Crowd.” which includes nearly all of the sitting GOPe Senators. Their “monied masters” need to get back to using America as their “market,” not their country. Hoping to read about a dead Koch Brother or two, every day.

She didn’t have to write it, just be the useful idiot who plays along and attaches her name to the effort to give cover. Like the moron woman who would help smuggle a bomb on a plane.
