Collapse: An anonymous op-ed published by The New York Times paints a disturbing picture of POTUS Donald Trump as an unmoored, unprincipled leader whose worst impulses have to be mitigated through secret actions and back channels. There exists, this “senior White House official” says, a “two-track presidency.”
But whether or not what the official says is true, Americans may have a legitimate constitutional crisis on our hands because the letter proves without any doubt that this president is a victim of subversion.

“We invite you to submit a question about the essay or our vetting process here” In other words, We lit the cinder you pour the gas.The “special counsel looms large” Large in bias? Large in conflicts of interest ? Large in no Russian collusion found after months of spending a ton of money trying to trip up targets? Large in questionable acts committed by investigators that should in themselves be the target of a Grand Jury investigation! That’s interesting that “many of the senior officials in his own administration are working, diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda” ,”I would know. I am one of them”, is this a confession, who might the others be?
The reality of this article is that there is nothing in it but repetition of the same old crap the NYT has been spewing for months on end.

I work for the president but like-minded colleagues and I have vowed to thwart parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.

President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.
It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership.
Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.
The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working
diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.
I would know. I am one of them.
To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think
that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.
But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the
health of our republic.
That is why many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institution
s while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office.

IMHO, the really smart folks decided some time back the NYT is totally unreliable and a predominant source for Fake News. These folks are ignoring all the screaming and yelling about this.
The NYT can and will publish anything they feel will denigrate President Trump. They are best ignored. The NYT has become Alex Jones like and deserves as much respect.
