President Trump on Wednesday called for the New York Times to reveal the name of the anonymous administration official who wrote an op-ed article blasting him.
Does the so-called Senior Administration Official really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source? If the GUTLESS anonymous person does indeed exist, the Times must, for National Security purposes, turn him/her over to government at once! the president wrote in a tweet posted online at about 7:45 p.m.
The Times said in an explanation that went along with the op-ed which was published Wednesday afternoon that it knew the identity of the senior official in the Trump administration but was keeping it secret because the persons job would be jeopardized. We believe publishing this essay anonymously is the only way to deliver an important perspective to our readers, the Times wrote.
In the piece, the official, who is described as part of the resistance, said that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of [Trumps] agenda and his worst inclinations.
In anger over this, Trump earlier in the evening Wednesday tweeted only the word TREASON?

Why Kellyanne?
Oh, I don't know about that.
If the NYT piece is true, then there's an obvious national security threat sitting somewhere in the White House. The President is within his legal rights (and has a duty) to investigate and find the source.
The anti-American filth at the Times can scream all they want about protecting their sources and the 1st Amendment, but it won't hold up to the government's right to protect our national security at the highest level.
The problem is not the NYT, the problem is with a renegade official within the White House.
If not the NYT, they would go to the Washington Post, CNN, Fox News or any number of internet news sites.
That person should be found, but I don’t think the NYT will revel the name.
However, there are other, more judicial means to discover who wrote the piece.
Hell! Just cancel all NYT press credentials that give them access at the White House, Congress and any appearances where POTUS may be.
If the NYT WILL reveal who the op ed writer is and it’s true, the credentials may be restored.
This IS a possible matter of national security, as the writer stated he was a member of the “resistance”.
According to Merriam-Webster, dialogue means conversation, and dialog box means a window on a computer screen.
I’m an oldster and have always spelled it as dialogue.
My $0.02:
What Mr. Trump could do is empower every (yes, EVERY) Executive Branch worker to speak freely to news media, so long as they spoke on the record. Citing the 1st Amendment, he could say they would not face termination if they accepted responsibility for the comments they chose to take to media outlets or posted to social media.
Should they choose to remain anonymous, said employees could face administrative actions up to and including immediate unilateral termination of employment for cause. (Gotta leave open the option of posting someone to the U.S. Embassy in Ulan Bator.)
I’ll admit, I’m not sure this would work. But it sure would hoist the swamp media by their own petard.
Coats, Chao, Mnuchin, Ross, or Conway. Whomever wrote this load of sedition clearly tried to cover their tracks and point the interest towards Pence and Kelly. Coats or Chao would be my bet.
