When I heard her questioning Judge Kavannah and spouting those statistics, the first thing I thought of was : what about all those babies? She was saying she didn’t want to go back to a time when abortions lead to death. I couldn’t believe how ironic it was.

It’s all in how you define it I guess. If you take a school shooting as a gun being fired on school grounds, there have been 100s. This would include fights, gang activity, lover’s quarrels, idiots impressing friends, etc.
If you’re talking about school shootings where some loon walks from classroom to classroom systematically shooting children, then that’s probably NPR’s number. I count 7 shootings with 10 or more deaths since the 90s.
Like most numbers, it’s how you spin it.

What I find interesting is both sides ignore the non-death #metoo stories.
Pre-Roe-v-Wade the UCC settlement house in my area had a teen counseling program provided by Planned Parenthood. PP hired a male grad student working on his Masters to run the counseling program.
Pregnant teens would come in (mostly Hispanic but a few Blacks and whites). The PP grad student would tell these teens:
You can’t get any more pregnant than you already are. So now is the time to learn to enjoy it. He would convince them to practice with him.
He would tell them how abortions were expensive. But he knew these generous guys who would pay for it. They threw parties at the 3-flat on E. Division. These girls should go to these parties and meet these generous rich guys.
PP was very effective at raising money off those teen girls.

And Gosnell was protected by corrupt AF government officials.
