Three Texas doctors traveled to Washington D.C. to attend the confirmation hearings for Judge Brett Kavanaugh. While waiting in line, they witnessed protesters being paid in cash to cause trouble in the hearing and the line to get in.

Fantastic that they were caught red-handed ! "Caught" would indicate that they were trying to hide it, which does not appear to be the case.

Money being paid for speech makes it “commercial”. That should bring into play Virginia State Pharmacy Board v. Virginia Citizens Consumer Council, 425 U.S. 748 (1976) which covers the listeners’ First Amendment Right to HEAR. All those folks who attended (also TV viewers) were denied their right to hear the proceedings by the screaming of the PAID scum.

I was a democrat years ago - they almost always pay (protesters) cash right when the shift ends. Guess they worry people will walk off if they pay them ahead of time. (that’s one trusting bunch.../s )
