Levi Strauss & Co. has expanded their original mission beyond the manufacture of blue jeans. This values driven company now feels a responsibility to the communities where we live and work and will now engage with other gun control groups to fight for gun violence prevention.
Chip Berg, CEO of Levi Strauss, wrote an open letter to his customers asking them not to bring firearms onto the premises of their stores, offices or other facilities. For him, it was a matter of safety. Of course, law enforcement was exempt from that request.
And then Boy Scouts lost their way morally too.
Ditto - I haven’t bought LS in probably 10 years. Wrangler and American Eagle fit better, last as long or longer through some tough use.
These are jeans well made by Americans for Americans: Gusset Jeans.
They have been in the Gun Control camp for a long time. I won’t by Levis.
The GAP
is between their ears

The Wranglers will last longer, too.

I stopped buying Levis when they moved their production facilities outside of the USA. Their CEO is a fool.
“I gave Levis the middle finger decades ago.”
So did I. They have been obnoxiously anti-gun ever since I’ve been keeping track of such things going back to the 60’s.
Wranglers here too.
“Im a Carhartt and Wrangler guy.”
Me, too. However, I do still have one old paid of Levi jeans, but they are thin and frayed and I wear them for yard work; I also still have my Levi denim jacket, which I sometimes wear in the fall over a wool sweater when I work outdoors in crappy conditions; so crappy that I don’t want to destroy any of my three Carhartt jackets while working out there.

Post them in accordance with local law otherwise piss off.
“Its like all the corporations are striking at once. Its really odd.”
Generally speaking the CEO class are a bunch of shitheads.
“But the company has struggled in recent years to connect with younger consumers. “
They are going to be struggling a lot more with older consumers too.
I saw them, with rainbow belts
Bump to check out Helikon
Like Walmart they restricted gun sales to 21 and over. They only sell guns at their big store in Maine. Don’t like that but hardly a case of gun grabbing.
The commies launched a boycott of Bean last year because a family member in mgt supports Trump. In response Laura Ingraham said “buy at Bean.”
These days it’s hard to find someone perfect but I’m satisfied Bean does their best to at least stay neutral.
There are work jeans
There are designer jeans
And there are the jeans I get at the thrift shop...
