Nike should no longer be able to receive police protection. Just do it police!

I have never owned a Nike product, and I doubt that I ever will.

Generally speaking, I would prefer to pay for just the product, rather than the product plus additional money to cover endorsements by people I don’t give a rat’s ass about.

It’s only a suicide watch if their institutional investors care about the bottom line.

Small investors, however, are about to be screwed.

Paging the SEC....

These marketing people had to have done some research from their customers. Clearly we are not in their demographic.

I’ve always found their clothes made for skinny little soccer player bodies. Their shoes are too narrow. Their shirts are made for people with 42 in chests and 29 inch waists. Clearly, I am not in their physical demographic.

I have no problem not buying something I haven’t bought.

It is a shame that they’ve gone from representing excellence in athletic performance, to pop culture. This will ultimately hurt them. They will alienate a great chunk of their customer base by picking a political figure AND a shitty QB.

I hear the new “improved” shoes have reinforced toe-tops so they don’t get holes worn in them from all that kneeling....

Some people are going to have to buy their Nikes now because they won’t be able to steal them from other people because those other people are no longer buying them.

Well, actually the campaign accurately reflects what ol’ Colin did, contrary to what the article here claims.

He truly believes in his cause (i.e. BLM and all that entails) AND was willing to (and did) sacrifice what little career chances he may have had. He didn’t “sell out” his beliefs for a pay-check. Okay, Bravo for sticking to your guns ...

I OTOH, and many of my fellow Americans, believe that Colin is an idiot and Nike even more so for giving him a platform to spew his racist garbage. We will sacrifice buying an otherwise good product and look to the competition, regardless of the quality and cost.
