What led the church to where it is today was unspeakable crimes and institutional cover-ups. At a moment when unqualified humility would seem the only possible response available to leaders of the Catholic faith, they instead choose to engage in the scurrilous scapegoating of innocent gay people. They demonstrate an unwillingness to accept full responsibility and a breathtaking absence of decency. Abuse in the church occurred not because of homosexuality but because church leaders created safe spaces for predators. Some of the abusers might have been gay. So what? Psychologists say pedophiles are sexually aroused not by gender but by youth, and homosexuality does not make people more likely to abuse others, as studies have shown. Some of the victims in Pennsylvania were girls.
When priests tell church members that homosexuality is a bar to Heaven, that's ultimately a spiritual matter the faithful must work out for themselves, but when church officials charge that homosexuality causes outrages in communities here on Earth, the discussion becomes a concern for believers and non-believers alike. Whether for spiritual or humane principles, the reaction from within and without the church must be to categorically reject such hateful messages.

The Pennsylvania Grand Jury report refuses to identify the breakdown of male and female victims. They have all the identities, since they said they identified over 1,000 victims, and believe there could be thousands more they cannot identify.
The Pennsylvania AG is being politically correct. He won’t identify the breakdown so we can’t confirm it was largely homosexual priests. Jerk.
Homosexual priests can inquire about sexual feelings of young boys I presume.

Interesting, especially in light of the recent focus on the thousands of children sexually violated by clergy. Most were boys, something around 90% were boys, and all of the perpetrators of the boys were homosexual clergy - priests.
The elephant in the room is that the homosexual community has infested the RC clergy. It is a huge number. But our modern society is protecting the gay lifestyle. If you say a word about them, you are publicly labelled homophobic. And when that happens public figures such as politicians, government people at any level, owners of a successful businesses, etc. have their careers ruined.
Watch carefully, you will see there will be a full court press to make the homosexual pedophiles, the victims. Honesty about homosexuals is forbidden.

First of all, the psychology and psychiatric community caved to the homo movement quite a while ago, when they removed homosexuality from the DSM.
When they did so, they lost all credibility re: this matter.

To those who claim the RC church has some sort of monopoly on this type of deviation, is preposterous. In my lifetime I saw the beginning of outright disrespect for all traditional morality during the 1960's when the free-love movement went crazy and the hippies and drug culture was rampant. it was glamorized by Hollywood and the music industry.
So it infected all churches and organizations. When Vatican II took place it seemed like an open door for liberalism to infect the church. The homosexual infiltration of the priesthood was already a problem, and it seemed to metastasize after that. Although the hierarchy has, like all huge organizations, covered up for wrongdoing, it is true that the majority of abuse was male on male and directed toward teenage boys or young seminarians who were under the authority of a more senior cleric. Thus these were just as much crimes as the underage boys - but not so egregious as that with minor boys [or girls -which was rarer] who are even more vulnerable. The ridiculous statement by Cardinal Cupich about the more important concerns of the church are climate change & helping illegal immigrants, tells us that he is nothing more than a leftist stooge, and that Christian faith in Jesus comes second to these people. We are called to be a holy people, not 'liberal people or conservative people'. God will not be mocked and Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Until the Church busts all of the queer priests out of the priesthood, the problem will continue. They have also got to keep all of them out of the seminaries. Until they do, the problem will continue. This Pope must face this and proclaim the same.
Bull Feces. Children and young adults were served up on a platter to the pc Cabal... homosexuality not only accounted for 2/3 of the abuse.. but preventing its wxpisure was the main driver for covering up all of it.

Protecting the homosexual Cabal was why NO investigation into sexual impropriety of the church is allowed. If your son and daughters life is destroyed to protect it.. too bad.
As far as I know, most of the abuses were of teenage boys, lending credence to the idea that a certain subset of gay men who are fond of teenagers — such are known as ephebophiles — entered the priesthood and then carefully forgot about such ideas as “age of consent”, “statutory rape”, etc.
Actually, given all the covering up, it would still exist, albeit at a much lower number of cases. Some people are simply monsters.
