John McCain is being laid to rest at the U.S. Naval Academy after a five-day procession that served as a final call to arms for a nation he warned could lose its civility and sense of shared purpose.
The private ceremony in Annapolis, Maryland, was as carefully planned as the rest of McCain's farewell tour, which began in Arizona after he died Aug. 25 from brain cancer and stretched to Washington.

As I said on another thread, I interact with a mix of conservatives, “moderate” Republicans, and Democrats of all stripes where I work and live and no one is talking about John McCain. Just another example of elites telling us what is important and how we should feel. They should have honored him by suspending his funeral, just like he suspended his lame-ass campaign.
So the longest funeral in history turned into a Trump hate fest, Obama loves McCain and all liberals love GW Bush?

As a midshipman at USNA, I sang in one of the church choirs. Before services on Sunday morning, we would warm up in a small memorial chapel beneath the main chapel and adjacent to JPJ’s crypt. After warmups, we would go to the crypt where mess stewards had set up coffee and cookies for us to enjoy. Always get a kick telling people I had coffee with JPJ every Sunday.
Does this mean that I can finally raise the flag back up? Oh, wait. I may have forgotten to lower it. Today is a good day for America.
The silver lining is that even on FB some of our fellow but misguided little folk finally woke up and said "Wait a minute. Those people don't know political parties. They only know that they're different and better than the rest of us. Their God is the Rothschilds, Saros, and Global Control".
Meghan McCain is perhaps the most deranged. Why I'm so disturbed? To turn a funeral into something so hateful is beyond comprehension. Pray it isn't too late for America to WAKE UP. And PS: what the *ell were Jared and Ivanka doing there? Either they're totally clueless about what President Trump is giving his all to accomplish or they've been brainwashed by the Deep State.

I suspect the grounds people at the Naval Academy will have trouble getting grass to grow over No Name’s grave.
This has been so overwhelming that I’m actually starting to be sorry that he died, and I never thought I’d say that!
OTOH, it’s good that McAmnesty is not buried next to his pal Kennedy in Arlington. The Naval Academy is not Arlington and they can dispose of the refuse at a later date with little fanfare.
I have often said that Kennedy should be removed from Arlington and even started a petition to do so...
Kennedy being the traitor he was should not be allowed to rest there among heroes.
The left seems so desperate to be outraged by something,.. anything.
It will be a convenient place to go take a piss.
