How conservative he is doesn’t matter. He would have to be more canny and perceptive than Trump to succeed after a deposition of Trump.

I have a friend who is impeachment obsessed. Ok, acquaintance at this point, due to deteriorating friendship due to poltical strain.

He has told me that "Pence is dirty, so is Nunes" and they will both be taken down by Mueller.

I truly believe that some of them think that the can bring down both Trump and Pence together, so quickly that a new VP can not be appointed and that the Presidency can be given to Nancy Pelosi.

In fact, that may be their plan.

Remember, when they did in Nixon they did in Agnew first, and repalced him with their favorite Deep State guy: Nelson Rockefeller.

Their is a template for these semi-legal coups.

I have met quite a few who have the opposite. Those who regret not voting for for him.

Glad to see that!

the Australian ambassador to DC is back home for a visit this week:

31 Aug: SBS: AAP: Hockey says ‘formidable’ Trump will be re-elected
Australia’s ambassador to the US, Joe Hockey, says Donald Trump is one of the most formidable politicians he’s seen in his life and is backing him for re-election
Australia’s ambassador to the United States says Trump is authentic, not as aggressive in person as he is on Twitter, and is underestimated by many people.
“He is one of the most formidable politicians I’ve ever seen in my life,” he told Sydney’s 2GB radio...

Mr Hockey, in Australia this week, said he’s had a number of private engagements with the president - including some fairway therapy, most recently in April - and admired his “very inquisitive mind”.
“He’s always asking questions about ‘what do you think of this? What do you think of that?’...
The former Liberal treasurer felt there was a lot of momentum behind him in the US, and lauded him for fulfilling his promises to cut taxes, boosting the American economy, tearing up the Trans-Pacific Partnership, pulling out of the Paris climate agreement and moving the US embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
“When is the last time you had a president like that?
“If I was a betting man I would say you would bet that he’d be re-elected.”...

I went to the Washington Mall to hear him speak years ago. Even with a mic he spoke so softly nobody could hear him. Most just walked out.

He seems very “practiced” when he speaks. It’s almost like some conservatives are trained on how to sound conservative. He has a lot of the same mannerisms as mittens.

He will have 8 years of learning from The Master.

Sarah learned in a few months. I am sure Pence can learn as well.

I will work with him for free if need be ;)

Sad truth of the matter is I don’t see ANYBODY out there who’s as tough as Trump.

“Agreed. I think he’d be just as difficult if not more difficult for the Dems to beat. As long as he stays away from silly statements and trap issues I think he’d be fine.”

For these next 6 1/2 years, Trump will take care of the business side of America Inc. Trade, finance, infrastructure, law and protecting America is his priorities.

In 2024, Pence will clean up all the social issues affecting this country. He is already preparing for it.

In 2032, President Haley, as the first woman President will put all of it together and clean up the divide among the sexes.

Yes, there are two words the left should be afraid of if they manage to get rid of Donald Trump. But they are NOT “President Pence”; they are “Civil War”.

The trouble with Pence is that he has no backbone and would probably cow-tow to every press and Democrat whim. He’s not tough. He caved on the pervert marriage thing in Indiana in about 3 days.

She was wrong. Pence has been the consistent guiding voice in the development of Trumps domestic and internationally policy. He knows DC inside and out.

For the impeachers, Pence would be far worse than Trump because he is the guy rounding up the votes. The press doesn’t cover the Pence because has is the needs balance for the administration. He’s everywhere talking to everybody.
Hillary......Pence was the best move Donald Trump every made and he really did help swing the election!

HA! Pence is just another milquetoast establishment republican. He would backtrack on Trumps policies so fast it would make your head spin. My worst nightmare is Pence for President. I dread the last day of Trumps term like I did Ronnie’s.

Right now the only person I’m even marginally interested in for 2024 is Tom Cotton.

Vice President Pence would be out the door before he can take the oath of office. After all, if President Trump were guilty of collusion, then Vice President Pence MUST also be guilty.

That would pave the way for the Democratic Speaker of the House (obviously a male) to assume office, nominate SWMNBN for Vice President and then he would resign and we’d have our first female President. Also, our first to overcome the people’s vote.

Alot of political neophytes don’t understand how policy gets developed in the White House. It isn’t just one brain running the Federal government and it isn’t just Trump who is putting forward policies and initiatives.

You let the Dems think Pence is a pushover and you WILL only further this stupid impeachment talk.......
