Brown University removed a news story it had published about research suggesting that young peoples decisions to transition from one sex to another is influenced by their peers and social media after angering the transgender community.

Report says ‘transgenders’ occur in clusters and suggested it was a ‘coping mechanism’ like cutting or drug abuse.
The “party of science” shuts down anything that questions their orthodoxy.
Maybe it’s just me, but that headline reads like it came out of a blender.
So peer pressure kept them from talking about peer pressure. Way to shape the future leaders of our nation, Brown.
Stupid turds.
If you mean ‘my’ headline it took me 10 min to cut it down to be able to fit the posting guideline of 100 letters, symbols...or less.
Sorry.
The best thing about Brown is the annual fleecing being given to anyone fool enough to fork over that amount of money for their kid’s babysitting.
so much for truth and academic research
“so much for truth and academic research”
Man, those have been gone for decades! How I wish it weren’t so!
I couldn’t put my finger on it, but that summarizes it perfectly!
Recruit recruit recruit
Perverts want new bait
‘friend’ :)
I think the research these guys did is spot on.
Kids are pretty easily influenced. They don’t know anything and are searching their ways about. They can fall into traps and this one is a humdinger. Pretty nasty stuff.
That headline makes no sense.
Thank you! I thought maybe it was just me.
Gays think trannies are wack.
JUST SAYIN!
Who gives a damn about the transgender community? I dont and never will.
I used to work for a community mental health agency. The CDC monitors suicide activity and would let us know when they had identified a “suicide cluster” of teens in our area because of the likelihood of contagion. I see no reason why a similar dynamic wouldn’t be related to sudden onset gender dysphoria.
Interesting.
I think it’s just like the 60s & 70s when kids were experimenting with drugs and there was peer pressure for kids to get stoned... well, now it’s about experimenting with your sexual identity and there is a peer pressure because other people are doing it.
Both drugs and sexual identity are something “dangerous” and kids want to experiment and be noticed.
