I know.   I first found that picture the other day when I was doing a search for something for one of those Florida "monkey" threads.   (I had never heard of those "spiked" candies before that. Apparently, that company sells all kinds of candies with that extra "kick", in those states where it is allowed.)

(And I can't believe all the "monkey" songs people came up with for those threads. I bet you could add a few more interesting but "obscure" (for most of us) songs from the distant past, that might apply to that subject in some way, with your broad and extensive knowledge of songs and music in general.)

Monkey Hips & Rice--The Five Royales (1953)

The Five Royales are the group that gave us Laundromat Blues (1953), one of the few songs out there on the subject of washing machines.
