Judge Jeff McElroy on Wednesday dismissed all of the charges against three of the five defendants arrested in connection to a New Mexico compound linked to extremist Muslims because authorities violated the states 10-day rule.

They were on extended vacays and couldn’t be bothered? I guess the word is “bureaucrat prosecutors”.
Judge McElroy is a good little dhimmi, isn’t he?
He ought to be thrown off the bench for this.
Well after the bulldozers moved in, there 2as no evidence
For later....
Judge Jeff McElroy has put his whole community at great risk.
Hope he knows he is responsible for all mayhem and horror resulting from his outrageous release of known, committed terrorists.
Somebody did die...the missing boy whose remains were found buried on the property. Is nobody going to be charged with that?
For better or worse this is the rule of law if this rule actually exists and has been consistently enforced.
This is a state action in state court.
I think all the disdain heaped on the judge in this post could be unfair though as a gay left-winger he deserves a lot of suspicion. The issue is more likely prosecutorial incompetence. Fortunately, the other two, including the apparent leader, remain in custody because they were charged with additional crimes 5 days ago which means they had better indict them within the next 5 or they will be released also.
Im... siding with the judge here.
Hype aside - the compound was raided and these guys were arrested and the prosecutor never bothered to present evidence as to why they were arrested to begin with.
If theres no evidence (and for some reason they bulldozed a good chunk of it) theres no right to inprison them. Thats the point of living in a free country.
Even for those in SOLITARY CONFINEMENT, whose trials have been delayed and delayed??????
>>This judge should hang.
Calm down.
>>The charges against fellow defendants, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj and Jany Leveille, remained. The suspects are accused of holding nearly a dozen children at the compound. The remains of a twelfth child were found on the compound.
The prosecutors messed up; this is true. That doesn’t mean the judge just decided to release all the suspects on a whim.
If the prosecutors showed probable evidence ahead of time then... yeah.
I dont agree with long term solitary confinement and dragged out trials either but thats a whole different can of worms.
That really pi**es me off.
What a bunch of crap. We know that judges bend, break, re-do, etc. laws all the time. He could've found a way to not dismiss charges. He CHOSE not to because the rag-heads are a protected species these days.
It = if true
