In Stunning Reversal, Michael Cohen’s Lawyer (Lanny LIES) Backpedals on Trump-Russia Claims

The Washington Post reported on Sunday that Davis said in an interview that he is “no longer certain about claims he made to reporters on background and on the record in recent weeks about what Cohen knows about Trump’s awareness of the Russian efforts.”

Davis told The Washington Post that he cannot confirm media reports that Cohen is prepared to tell special counsel Robert S. Mueller III that Trump had advance knowledge of the 2016 Trump Tower meeting –WaPo

CNN reported in July that Cohen claimed to have witnessed Trump approving the meeting between Trump Jr. and Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya, arranged by an associate of opposition research firm Fusion GPS.

The day after CNN’s report, the Washington Post – using an “anonymous source” they now admit was Davis, peddled the same story that “Cohen had told associates that he witnessed an exchange in which Trump Jr. told his father about an upcoming gathering in which he expected to get information about Clinton,” however the Post didn’t say Trump Jr. told Sr. it was the Russians.

“I should have been more clear — including with you — that I could not independently confirm what happened,” Davis said, adding perhaps the most difficult four words for an attorney to utter: “I regret my error.”

A PERFECT LYING, OBFUSCATING DEMOCRAT IN EVERY WAY: “I should have been more clear — that I could not independently
confirm what happened,” Lanny told the media, adding the most difficult four words for an attorney to utter: “I regret my error.”

He's so perfect. Sowing confusion into the political milieu is so terribly, terribly Democratic.

"I could not independently confirm what happened," Davis said.

In the context of what transpired with these media reports about what Cohen knows and what he was willing to share with Federal prosecutors, this statement only makes sense if Cohen fabricated a story and told it to his own lawyer. LMAO.

Lanny had Cohen plead guilty to bank fraud.

Bernie’s wife,Jane Sanders, is still under FBI investigation for shady banking transactions as president of Vermont’s Burlington College

Witness in Jane Sanders land deal probe says she was recently interviewed by FBI

A key witness in the possible bank fraud case against Sen. Bernie Sanders’ wife, Jane Sanders, was questioned by FBI agents just over a week ago, Fox News has learned.

The revelation—the first such confirmed development since January—likely indicates that the federal investigation into a soured $10-million real estate deal remains open.

Jane Sanders, the former president of the now-defunct Burlington College, was at the helm when the college decided to expand and obtain a tract of land from a Roman Catholic parish. She secured a $6.7 million loan from a bank and a $3.6 million loan from the parish from which she planned to purchase the property.

She resigned in 2011 amid accusations that she inflated the amount of money donors have pledged to the school and provided incorrect information to a bank to get the loan. Multiple individuals, who were listed as college donors, have since come forward denying the commitments.

Coralee Holm, the former Burlington College dean of operations, has previously told Fox News that the probe has “no specific deadline.” FBI agents first questioned her last summer, she said.

Holm said she was visited by agents two weeks ago and answered “some clarifying questions on materials.”

Jane Sanders, wife of former Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, is the subject of an FBI probe, dating back to her tenure as president of Burlington College. Sen. Sanders calls the investigation ‘nonsense’
The news of a recent questioning comes after reports that a federal grand jury was empaneled last year in October and heard evidence from another former official at the college.

Robin Lloyd, who served on the board at Burlington College, confirmed in January that a grand jury was looking into the possible bank fraud by Sanders. Grand juries are generally secretive and their existence is often denied to the public, but witnesses are allowed to discuss their testimonies.

“They’re trying to pull together where did the money come from to enable Burlington College to convince (People’s United Bank) and the diocese to go ahead with the deal,” Lloyd told the Burlington Free Press.

A spokesperson for the Sanders family has pushed back against the recent developments in the probe, saying they had “absolutely no reason to believe that there is a grand jury empaneled to examine” Sanders or any “aspect of Dr. Sanders’ service.” The spokesperson blamed the media for “recycling an account of a government interview of a witness from several months ago.”

He probably got a fat check from the treasonous Media to lie for a just a couple days and then retract it.

Then again, Trump’s new lawyer may have ensured his client stayed in prison for much long time to “Muell over”
his deteriorating memory.

Got a new meme coming, Liz. Enjoying this one. Mad Maxine is in it!

These previously false allegations should overshadow NYTimes v Sullivan. Trump should sue this a$$hat and see what becomes of it. And also report Davis to his state bar Disciplinary Board.

There’s no proof of collusion with Russians because there wasn’t any... at least NOT on Trump’s part. If the biased jerks in the press were to take a long hard look at Hillary’s campaign and HER interactions with the Russians they might find the goldmine.

Of all the spurious excuses she gives for her 2016 loss, the most ludicrous is that
Hillary says she lost her "sure-thing election" because "Putin doesn't like me."
Comey sucked up bigtime--told Congress Putin wanted to “harm Hillary.”

Hillary once bragged that she, alone, was brought into Putin's inner sanctum
where she assured Putin she was worried about wildlife like he was.

Putin whispered to an attentive Hilary that they were BFF.

Secy Hillary and Obama were eager to please Russia w/ the friendly reset button.
Hillary later said the reset gambit was Obama's and her idea "to strengthen Russia."

==============================================

Ex-Pres Clinton is s-o-o-o-o friendly he traveled to Russia to clinch the uranium giveaway deal.
And to pocket a $500,000 dollar speaking fee from a Moscow bank plus a sizeable commission.

Billybooboo even laid his "Hot Damn Hokey Hillbilly Act" on Putin.

Hillary’s State Department Urged U.S. Investors To Fund Russian Research For Military Uses
Common Sense Evaluation / FR Posted on 8/27/2018 by gaggs

A program overseen by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton as part of the "reset" with Russia wound up enhancing Russia's military technology and funneling millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation. Both the U.S. Army and the FBI found that the program, intended to support Russia's version of Silicon Valley, was exploited to improve Russia's military capability. The FBI warned several American technology companies in 2014 that the city of Skolkovo, on the outskirts of Moscow, "may be a means for the Russian government to access United States sensitive or classified research development facilities and dual-use technologies with military and commercial application." In reality, it was. (Excerpt) Read more at commonsenseevaluation.com ...

==============================

THE OBAMA/HILLARY RUSSIAN LOVE AFFAIR---Visiting Moscow on March 24, 2010, Secy Hillary
explained the Reset Button’s purpose: “Our goal (Obama and the State Dept) is to help strengthen Russia.”

No need to ask Obama and Clinton about their Russian connections-----the paper trail is long and wide.
HILLARY'S STATE DEPT----AND THE OBAMA YEARS---UNRELENTING SCANDAL By Ari Lieberman/ frontpagemagazine.com

EXCERPT The taxpayer financed-Skolkovo Scandal – While serving as secretary of state, Clinton oversaw a program meant to “reset” relations with Moscow and improve ties. The program centered around the Russian city of Skolkovo near Moscow with the stated aim of “identifying areas of cooperation and pursuing joint projects and actions that strengthen strategic stability, international security, economic well-being, and the development of ties between the American and Russian people.”

Hillary's State Dept program transformed Skolkovo into a technology hub akin to a Silicon Valley. Sensitive American technology was transferred to the Russians, substantially enhancing their military and cyber capabilities. The US Army and the FBI concluded that Russia had exploited the program for military applications.

The FBI warned American technology companies doing business in Skolkovo that the Skolkovo project was a means by which the Russians would acquire dual use technologies and apply them for military ends. According to investigative author Peter Schweizer, Russian and American companies and individuals involved in the Skolkovo fiasco “had major financial ties to the Clintons.”

Moreover, during the Russian reset period, those entities provided the Clintons with “tens of millions of
dollars” in the form of “contributions to the Clinton Foundation, paid for speeches by Bill Clinton, or
investments in small start-up companies with deep Clinton ties.”
