The Fake News Media worked hard to get Tiger Woods to say something that he didnt want to say. Tiger wouldnt play the game - he is very smart. More importantly, he is playing great golf again!

Why do we care what Tiger has to say?
This thread is a repeat of other threads about Tiger Woods.
“More importantly, he is playing great golf again!”
Should have said: More importantly, he is making his golf game great again!
Tiger needs to teach Brady on how to deal with the media when TRUMP come up!
Why do we care what Tiger has to say?
**********
Lighten up — its news when a famous black refuses a media invitation to trash Trump.
You can say that again.
1. Just answer the question that's been asked.
2. Always tell the truth.
With that as his foundation, long ago Tiger learned self-poise in public--reporters absolutely cannot bully him.
I certainly don't. And I'm getting sick of the blanket coverage he gets even when he's tied for 25th in a tournament.
Eh, “He’s playing [great] golf again!” There, fixed it.
I heard first-hand, twenty years ago when Tiger was emerging as a star, different accounts. This was before the days of digital cameras, mind you.
I met a sports photographer who was covering a PGA tournament at Torrey Pines; he was in line getting his film developed at the local 1-hour place. He told me that Tiger, at the tender age of only 20, was the most arrogant young man he had ever met, by both his words and actions. Really, I replied? Yeah, the photog replied, it’s just that everyone — EVERYONE — is covering for him because he is young, handsome, and black. No one wants to crack the facade.
I never forgot this conversation. So, I for one was not surprised when, 10 years later, it finally came out that Tiger lived a wild, reckless life, cavorting with ugly prostitutes and worse. It’s the inevitable outcome for someone with bad character who is protected by the media.
My point was not about Tiger’s character but about the public relations training he received. The two are unrelated.
Im sure he remembers how the media dragged him through the mud
Think it through, they are one and the same.
My photographer friend said Tiger was arrogant and not the public persona. This means, no doubt, that unscripted Tiger treated both fans and the media like peons.
Now, in front of a microphone, with both tape recorders and cameras running, I’ve no doubt that Tiger was perfect. But unscripted he was, frankly, a jerk.
I think you were fed a party line. No one who believed and lived by that party line would turn off the graciousness ans become a butthole when the recording devices were off. It’s pretty clear to me that Tiger did not live according to that eternal wisdom from his father. And, for all we know, those words you quoted weren’t his father’s but taken from a book of quotations.
His father set up the R&R in Bangkok, which I took part in 1969. Thanks,Mr. Woods!
Woods didn't take the bait. Tiger said you have to respect the office of the President.
I haven't said this in a long time - good for Tiger.
