Democrats who still hold out hope for a takeover of the senate in November are fretting about the prospects of one of their most vulnerable incumbents.
Senator Bill Nelson is being outspent, out manuevered, and out classed in his race to keep his Florida senate seat blue. His opponent, Governor Rick Scott, has been all over the state, contrasting his vigorous campaign with that of the 75 year old Nelson.
Any hopes of Democrats taking over the senate hinge on them holding seats in states won by Trump in 2016. All are locked in tight races with excellent GOP challengers.
And Democrats worry that Nelson isn't up to the task.

Hope we start seeing polling on Tester, Heitcamp, Brown and Manchin. Also, I understand that Menendez is inside the MOE on his polling. With 25 RATs up in the Senate, the law of averages should give us at least a half dozen seats.
Dems often keep their party affiliation off their lawn signs, they are embarrassed and should be.

I have noticed that! I looked up several candidates. Some of them you can’t even find out. It’s only when you look at who endorsed them, Planned Parenthood, Gay Florida and the Progressive party, that you can tell.
When Rick Scott outclasses you, you don’t have a problem.
You ARE a problem.

Nelson is 75, had prostrate cancer surgery in 2015 and is running for his 4th term. Should have retired, but glad he’s running, a easy GOP pickup.
Apparently lying is no longer enough, Nelson.
