Fawning Over McCain
Original Content | 8/26/2018 | By Laz A. Mataz

So, Arizona Senator John McCain finally passed on.

As the left's favorite "Republican" Senator, the headlines and opinions in the left-wing News Misleadia are predictable and cloying. A small sampling is listed below:

The content of the articles are even more obsequious than the headlines. I expected as much. McCain was the left's favorite Senator -- a fake Republican, globalist, and diehard #NeverTrumper who could be counted on to obstruct any of the agenda the right or nationists would embrace.

My mother always told me I should never speak ill of the dead. However, I routinely ignore my mother's advice.

There are factors about his behavior and life that have long been extremely disagreeable, and others that put him in stark opposition to the political party to which he swore allegiance. There are three subjects I will explore: His temper, his grudges, and his policy.

HIS UNCONTROLLED TEMPER

Even before his brain tumor -- when erratic behavior could be better explained -- John McCain was a mercurial and explosive person who reacted to various situations with uncontrolled rage and inappropriate behavior. In 1992, in front of three reporters, McCain called his wife a "c***". Another incident of volatile, unstable behavior was when . There are so many examples, that colleagues in the Senate were quite concerned about his stability.

He was, however, very aware of his unpredictable and anger-fueled behavior, admitted he had a temper problem, though he did so in a manner that absolved him of personal responsibility.

However, it's said that a picture says a thousand words. Here is one, taken during a debate, in which his inner rage is briefly visible.

HIS LASTING GRUDGES

McCain, a petty man who held lifelong grudges, he never forgot slights politicians gave him. Chuck Hagel refused to endorse McCain in 2008, and opposed him during votes surrounding the Iraq war, saw McCain withhold the single vote that would have made Hagel the Defense Secretary.

Of course, his blood feud against President Trump continued to his dying day. He remarked that he hoped that Trump succumbed to the Washington establishment and laughably suggested that Trump was responsible for the Syrians using chemical weapons. He admits he was the primary source of the infamous and specious "Russian Peeing Prostitute" dossier that started the baseless, year-long Special Prosecutor investigation that goes on to this day. Yet, he was proud of his shameful behavior, defiantly telling critics of his actions to 'go to hell'

His vendettas were only punctuated by his disloyalty. His former vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, had backed his reelection effort. For her steadfastness, McCain returned a gut-punch, stating that he regretted choosing Palin as his running-mate.

HIS GLOBALIST AND LEFTWING POLICIES

John McCain was described, often, as a maverick who bucked his Republican party principles. However, a case could be made that he actually was not a maverick, but was consistently on the side of the opposition party. That makes him less of a maverick and more of a betrayer. It was his one vote, cast proudly and with a sense of defiance, that preserved Obamacare. He was a diehard globalist who consistently pushed his Gang-of-Eight amnesty proposals. And, as a stalwart NeoConservative, there were very few military entanglements he did not gladly support.

John McCain's opposition to Conservative Republican ideology was troubling, but his temper and his willingness to provoke and attack our international enemies were terrifying. It is for this that I often remark that we dodged a bullet in 2008. While Barack Obama was a destructive and tragic President, at least, unlike McCain, he did not leave the world a smoking, radioactive ruin.

The photos of McStain taken as he endorsed Hamas and Hezbollah ought to be posted, as proof of the man’s treachery toward Western Civilization. McStain was Soros’s hand puppet. The dead soul was always available to the highest bidder or the ones holding his blackmail file.

Of course they are fawning over him - even more so because they remember Trump's statement about having more respect for those who weren't captured.

I refuse to dance on his grave but do remember times when they had a head shot of him where he actually looked insane.

Spent 24 years in the military and another 15 Civil Service with the AF and my career didn't have the ups or downs of his - have no idea how his experiences might have affected me were I to go through them.

Whole I never cared for the living man, I can't bring myself to dance on his grave - partly for my own soul and partly because those he left behind will miss their father/husband/friend.

He's beyond gaining any satisfaction for the stands he took and also beyond being hurt by anything folks want to say about him now...life is too short to waste on pissing on the graves of the dead when we have so much to do to wrest our FReedom back from those who would enslave us. I have trouble with the mindsets of those who rail against long-dead slavery and monuments to CSA soldiers and other relics of the past...can't see the benefit to my life by following suit.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it - unless I'm offered some sort of immunity.....;-}

As always, always enjoy your inputs even with the 2-3 times I might have not fully agreed over the years.

God Bless and MAGA!!!

I figured he’d long ago passed over and those quotes attributed to him of late were fake.

People who voted for him, like me, regret it.
Those that never voted for him can’t stop praising him.

Have you read James? There is serious reason to doubt McStain was anything more than a pretender, not one actually believing in Jesus as his Savior so that he sought to follow His Lordship. McStain’s faith? I think his actions show us his ‘faith’.

McCain was a liability rather than an asset to OUR military, though a distinguished actor for the Noth Vietnamese; he aided and abetted terrorists in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa; and assisted to the very end in the foreign inspired and domestically assisted sedition aimed at displacing President Trump.

Only a statist, a globalist, or a jihadist could mourn his ascent to carrion status. It is an ascent, as it is a net improvement across the board for all but the three pernicious and malignant groups I mentioned.

I love the way the word maverick is substituted for turncoat. John McCain in 35 years as a senator was never seen committing a selfless act or penning/sponsoring a righteous piece of legislation. He was a lifelong parasite on the public’s dollar.

After all the fawning and fake accolades from the dems, swamp and the press, history will not be kind to this cancer on the ass of america.

Not just America, but the world. Tens of thousands of people have died due to that man’s limited intelligence and limitless malice. There were Nazis who were quite properly executed for lesser crimes.

Right, which is why James is about how OTHERS, not God, see you.

But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.
James 2:18.

James is the "show-me" epistle, about how you affect others by your faith. James is about how others see you. But James DOES NOT refute 2/3 of the New Testament by Paul which outlines the Gospel of the Grace of Christ by which we are righteous by faith NOT works, which is how God, not man, see us. In Christ, God see us as righteous APART from our works (Romans 3:28, 4:6, etc.).

McCain is in Heaven which has vessels of honor and dishonor (2 Tim 2:20-21). We may fail in our lives, but as long as we have received Christ, we are saved "to the uttermost" (Heb 7:25).

Here’s one from Daily Kos for good measure

McCain: Americans won’t pick lettuce for $50 an hour? (UPDATED)
Aug 22, 2008 11:14am PDT by

https://m.dailykos.com/stories/2008/8/22/572803/-

John McCain: “I don’t think I need to tell you that there are jobs that Americans will not do. I don’t think I have to tell you that there are ... the backbone of our economy...

Audience members: “Pay them the right wages.”

John McCain: “You know I’ve heard that statement before. Now, my friends, I’ll offer anybody here fifty dollars an hour if you’ll go pick lettuce in Yuma this season and pick for the whole season. So, ok, sign up! Ok, when you sign up, you sign up, and you’ll be there for the whole season, the whole season, ok, not just one day. Because you can’t do it, my friend.”

https://m.dailykos.com/stories/2008/8/22/572803/-

At the time I thought “$100,000 A year to work in weather that is 50 degree-ish? If I had to, I would”

I did not like that backstabber when he was alive

Go to the comments of article. Even the same left thought this guy was a self interested, grifter by marriage and very unstable”

Unfortunately that would impinge on the sites of the poor souls interred around him. Wherever that may be. He could be buried in the prison cemetery at Leavenworth, and those around him, criminals all, would still have been better men.
