Fawning Over McCain
Original Content | 8/26/2018 | By Laz A. Mataz

So, Arizona Senator John McCain finally passed on.

As the left's favorite "Republican" Senator, the headlines and opinions in the left-wing News Misleadia are predictable and cloying. A small sampling is listed below:

The content of the articles are even more obsequious than the headlines. I expected as much. McCain was the left's favorite Senator -- a fake Republican, globalist, and diehard #NeverTrumper who could be counted on to obstruct any of the agenda the right or nationists would embrace.

My mother always told me I should never speak ill of the dead. However, I routinely ignore my mother's advice.

There are factors about his behavior and life that have long been extremely disagreeable, and others that put him in stark opposition to the political party to which he swore allegiance. There are three subjects I will explore: His temper, his grudges, and his policy.

HIS UNCONTROLLED TEMPER

Even before his brain tumor -- when erratic behavior could be better explained -- John McCain was a mercurial and explosive person who reacted to various situations with uncontrolled rage and inappropriate behavior. In 1992, in front of three reporters, McCain called his wife a "c***". Another incident of volatile, unstable behavior was when . There are so many examples, that colleagues in the Senate were quite concerned about his stability.

He was, however, very aware of his unpredictable and anger-fueled behavior, admitted he had a temper problem, though he did so in a manner that absolved him of personal responsibility.

However, it's said that a picture says a thousand words. Here is one, taken during a debate, in which his inner rage is briefly visible.

HIS LASTING GRUDGES

McCain, a petty man who held lifelong grudges, he never forgot slights politicians gave him. Chuck Hagel refused to endorse McCain in 2008, and opposed him during votes surrounding the Iraq war, saw McCain withhold the single vote that would have made Hagel the Defense Secretary.

Of course, his blood feud against President Trump continued to his dying day. He remarked that he hoped that Trump succumbed to the Washington establishment and laughably suggested that Trump was responsible for the Syrians using chemical weapons. He admits he was the primary source of the infamous and specious "Russian Peeing Prostitute" dossier that started the baseless, year-long Special Prosecutor investigation that goes on to this day. Yet, he was proud of his shameful behavior, defiantly telling critics of his actions to 'go to hell'

His vendettas were only punctuated by his disloyalty. His former vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, had backed his reelection effort. For her steadfastness, McCain returned a gut-punch, stating that he regretted choosing Palin as his running-mate.

HIS GLOBALIST AND LEFTWING POLICIES

John McCain was described, often, as a maverick who bucked his Republican party principles. However, a case could be made that he actually was not a maverick, but was consistently on the side of the opposition party. That makes him less of a maverick and more of a betrayer. It was his one vote, cast proudly and with a sense of defiance, that preserved Obamacare. He was a diehard globalist who consistently pushed his Gang-of-Eight amnesty proposals. And, as a stalwart NeoConservative, there were very few military entanglements he did not gladly support.

John McCain's opposition to Conservative Republican ideology was troubling, but his temper and his willingness to provoke and attack our international enemies were terrifying. It is for this that I often remark that we dodged a bullet in 2008. While Barack Obama was a destructive and tragic President, at least, unlike McCain, he did not leave the world a smoking, radioactive ruin.

Laz, if anyone needed hitting, it was McCain.

Near last in his class at Naval Academy.

Incompetent flier for the Navy.

Dumped his wife, horribly injured in a car crash, for a beer baron floozy.

On the take as one of the Keating 5.

Pushed McCain/Feingold to gut the 1st Amendment because he didn’t like the criticism he got for his Keating participation. Law was struck down by the Supreme Court as unConstitutional. (”Preserve, Protect, and Defend”. Right, John?)

Volcanic temper.

Treacherous thorn in the side of the GOP during his whole Senate career.

Warmonger.

Terrorist sympathiser.

Colluded with foreign and U.S. spy agencies in an attempted coup d'etat against the lawfully elected President of the United States. (Again ”Preserve, Protect, and Defend”. Right, John?)

Vindictive score-settler right up until his passing.

My condolences to his family. I’m not glad he’s dead. I’m glad he’s no longer in the Senate.

I left out quite a bit, and concentrated on his most recent behavior (from 2008 on). But you are correct. Let me restate your points:

John McCain crashed five US Navy planes, and that's on the record. Moreover, he was involved in, if not instrumental to, the worst accident ever onboard a US Navy aircraft carrier -- the USS Forrestal fire.

Agree.
Enough of all these articles about McCain here.
Article after article.
It’s bad enough that I can’t watch Faux News because of non-stop coverage,
but to see article and article here is another thing.
Bury the RINO and be done with it.

Even in death, McCain is a great tool for the dems. Headlines accuse Trump of not using his name in a White House notice of sympathy, while Hollyweird harpys scream that Trump had better not dare to utter McCain’s name.
Maximum coverage.

We live in Orwellian times. The leftist, propagandist media will adulate McCain and bleach his sketchy record. He will now become an icon to serve the hate Trump narrative.

Single vote to preserve Obamacare is slamming my family and making health insurance unaffordable.

Sorry, tough to have compassion when my financial viability is being destroyed by something that McCain did to me.

A friend of mine who is a military brat posted this on her FB page last night:

McCain’s real legacy is: His father was the Admiral in charge of the Pacific fleet prosecuting the war in Vietnam.

Because of this McCain got preferential treatment in the Navy. He was allowed to become a Navy pilot. But he was a terrible pilot.

McCain crashed two navy Jets in his early career. Then while aboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Forrestal, McCain got angry because he had to wait in line to take off on a bombing run.

He shut off his engines, opened the cockpit, and in his haste to exit the aircraft to chew someone out about his having to “ wait”, he hit the button that released his live bombs onto the deck of the Forrestal.

He took off running, as the bombs exploded, which set off a chain reaction of bombs from adjacent aircraft, and the ensuing explosions and fires killed 133 sailors aboard the Forrestal.

While his fellow sailors were fighting the fire, McCain went to the pilot’s lounge below decks and watched the men fight the fire on closed circuit TV.
Hours later, McCain took off with a New York Times reporter buddy of his, and went on to say that after seeing the effects of those bombs on the Forrestal, he was beginning to question the morality of dropping those bombs on the Viet Cong.

McCain was the direct cause of 133 deaths on his own ship, and was never reprimanded. He was nowhere to be found as the Forrestal had to limp to the Philippines for months of repair work.

McCain was married then. His wife was stricken with debilitating injuries in an automobile accident. And was hospitalized for more than 5 months. McCain was off gallivanting with anything in a skirt.

Upon returning from Vietnam Nam, McCain found his wife was disfigured by her injuries, which included a shattered pelvis, arm, and legs. In order to save her legs, doctors performed 23 surgeries on her, and had to remove significant portions of the bones in her legs, which left he shorter, and unable to walk, and in a wheelchair, she had to use a catheter.

McCain was disinterested in his first wife’s predicament. She had to go through grueling physical therapy to learn to walk again.

After McCain left the Navy, he was intent on a career in politics. He and His wife Carol had gotten to know Ronald and Nancy Reagan, and McCain was eager to jump into politics.

But he decided he needed a more visually pleasing young woman by his side. He callously divorced Carol, the mother of his three children, and immediately jumped into the sack with new wife Cindy, who was 18 years younger.
Upon learning of this, the Reagans were shocked and angered by how he had treated Carol.

While campaigning for congress, McCain used pictures of himself posing with Mr. And Mrs. Reagan, but there was no hearty endorsement offered by the Reagans. McCain’s new young wife was also an heiress to an Arizona Brewing fortune.

And let us not forget McCain was one of the Keating 5, who had helped swindle life savings from countless Americans in the Savings and Loan scandal of the 1980’s. McCain was in it up to his eyeballs.Yet McCain was well-connected in Washington, and parlayed his connections into a seat in the United States Senate.

So before the tearful tributes to John McCain, be sure you remember the facts about this self-proclaimed Maverick. The facts do not agree with that portrait of a heroic patriot and great American. With due respect to his family, John McCain was never the great man so many portray him as.

I do not wish the man any harm or ill-will. But neither should we allow this false narrative fairy-tale about this scoundrel of a man as he faces his eternal fate. can see what John McCain really is.

Taken from another post.... CNN should report this!

I don’t wish harm on anyone, but I prayed sometime ago that God would remove McCain from his political position of power.

On the personal front, McCain was a Christian and is now in Heaven. God bless him.

But on the political front, McCain was a Benedict Arnold - a war hero turned traitor who missed his post-military-career opportunity to better himself and to better and serve his country. Instead, McCain became a poster child for corrupt career politicians who only serve themselves and their political future.

McCain missed the boat and I believe God removed him from office.
