I don't see Trump as revenge for Clinton. To me it's ironic that while there are some differences, you've basically got many similarities.

I don't believe the FBI is any more or less corrupt now than then. But any corruption today is under Trump's watch. It's his FBI director. It's his attorney general and assistant attorney general. He picked them and got them through the approval process.

Dammit Jim, I’m a chemist, not an alchemist.

I always thought that you can get better living through Chemistry.

As for oil or Gold from water the best one can do, is spend a ton of money to create either. More $$ than the end product and it will take more ENERGY then the final product.

Still if you were an Alchemist maybe you could merge Maine with Taxachusetts and live happily ever after

Actually, Mass used to be a part of Maine, but we kicked them out. Now they're coming back and killing the state. 50% of the state's 1.5 million population lives within 50 miles of Portland (RAT). The rest of the state seems to have it's mind right, but always gets slapped down in the legislature.

Actually, the only one I've seen that makes any sense is the utilization of algae. If you properly situated an energy facility in a tropical location with lots of sunlight and water, you could use solar heat for much of the process.

Shallow ponds are used to grow the algae, using the sun's heat to concentrate and ferment it, and lens-focused heat to distill it would give you alcohol with the only cost being for labor and paying off the plant's initial cost and maintenance.

Also, dried algae can yield triglycerides which can then be extracted and converted to biodiesel.

Cool dry climate...fogetaboutit.

But oil is cheap now, so this would only make sense for poor tropical places that don't have any.

My Cuzzie just installed a Roku and she said it was idiot proof. I will let you know how it goes. She is going to ComCast tomorrow and she thinks it will drop her bill by $150.00. We are “Seasonal” Customers. Hmmm.

That's all true, but Trump was under pressure to pick someone acceptable to a larger number of RINOs who would have rejected anyone considered controversial. As it was the Rosentstein nomination was all about prosecuting "Russian collusion" since Sessions had recused just a week before those hearings.

In short, Trump was boxed in by a poltical nomination process which, again, was not D versus R, but reformers versus good old boys. The reformers lost. Same with Wray who was also a compromise with the good old boys.

The lack of significant FBI reform Russian collusion witch hunt is technically Trump's fault but I was of the opinion (and still am) that MAGA is much more important and that Trump had to (and actually has) made great progress while mainly ignoring that ridiculously corrupt and meaningless investigation. It is purely a political question and knowledgeable Americans support Trump.

Winning the mid terms is more important than satisfying the sanctimonous whining of those impatient souls that believe jailing Hillary is the most important Presidential objctive

So what you’re saying is contrary to his claims, he didn’t pick the best for his cabinet?

I agree completely. MAGA depends on midterms.

Trump has not said that Sessions was a good pick. To the contrary he said he would have picked Sessions had he known Sessions would recuse. The timing of that recusal, a week before Rosenstein’s hearings, was very bad.

He only says Sessions was a bad pick because of the recusal. Not because he was a bad attorney general. Of course the wind could shift and the explanation will too.

Here’s what I found. 6.2% in 2016, 5.5% 2017, 6% 2018 and 6% predicted for 2019. So my coverage really hasn’t gotten less expensive and my coverage hasn’t improved.

There are numbers all over the place. Frankly I don’t care what your rates did. Obamacare destroyed the HC market and your pal McCain stopped it from being destroyed.

I’d very much appreciate if you stayed off this thread, please.

Next week, too.

I’m not telling you to do so, I am asking.

The reason is as I said before. You are not telling us anything new that isn’t constantly spoken of and written in the drive by/main stream media. We get it.

Here, we take a contrary opinion, and delve into where those common Left wing media assumptions and talking points are wrong.

If all you do is parrot those same talking points, up to and including posting links to Left-leaning websites, than this doesn’t help us, but rather seems like inciting a thread war.

Most people on Free Republic would rather not have such constant, never-ending and not winnable-either-side debates.

Thank you in advance!
