Don’t be sad, most of the old folks will be dead in a few years and you won’t have to worry about what other people do in their own personal lives. Right?

You miss the point. This is public housing. When their “personal lives” conflict with my tax dollars; then yeah - I get to make my point, don’t I?

Next it will be the ban on straws. Got to have that control over the subjects system.

Cost of a pack of cigarettes is an average $6.16 per pack or $2,248 a year for those who smoke a pack a day. This can be applied to rent rather than being subsidized by the taxpayer.

What’s the cost of 2 straws a day?

If they’re worried about the cleanup cost, why don’t they have the incoming tenants clean the rooms?

Regardless, I’m sure the smoke nazis are rejoicing over this one.

Government shouldn’t be doing charity in the first place.

I don't mind being called a nazi by those who pimp death or addiction.

Smokes, lobster, steak, caviar etc etc etc should be banned from EBT Cards at the supermarket. Make them learn how to *COOK, or starve.

"F____ y'all again."

Seriously...well I have been serious...how about you going to the non-smoking bar and I go to the bar that allows it? Oh wait...the pukes don't even allow that choice anymore?

It sounded like your animosity is directed towards the addict, not the pimp.

How strange that you post that picture to make your point that taxpayers should fund cigarette smoking in public housing.

A picture of an 112 year old veteran who met with Trump in the White House.

A picture of him smoking IN HIS OWN DAMN HOUSE. Not public housing

You open us a great insight. It begs the answer to how do they afford the cost of cigarettes? I suspect the cigarette money comes from other unnamed sources that are not from the government. What are these sources?

I stand corrected. He went to DC, but I don’t see that he met with President Trump.

“It begs the answer to how do they afford the cost of cigarettes? “

The high cost of cigarettes is thanks to the filthy government taxes.

You are overreaching. Nobody wants to ban smoking in anyone’s personal home. The point is simply this. Ban smoking in public housing.

“You think they’re mad now. Just wait until Medicaid starts refusing to treat smokers.”

Or the obese, diabetics, heart failure, arthritis, or anything else tangentially related to “lifestyle”?

“What if Medicaid and Obamacare, and VA care were to charge smokers a premium, a surcharge for the extra cost of their lifestyle?

Smoking, alcohol, drugs, promiscuous sex are at the heart big medical costs.”

What are you going to become terminally ill from that we have to pay for? Have you decided yet?
