Bingo, that is if the cart fits. BTW - those carts cost $500.

#44 I cannot see customers washing bags out. Meats would make reusable bags super gross. Curious what Kroger’s option will be.

They will have the checkers and baggers wearing PLASTIC gloves that will be thrown away every day.

“We used to save them to make fire starters for the coal furnace or on BSA hikes. ;)”

Now THAT I didn’t know——but for a few years after I was married I had no garbage disposal and I kept one of the wax milk containers at my sink, with the top cut off,to put my wet kitchen waste into———very handy.

“I had grocery bagging down to a science and it was so easy to arrange the contents with the heavy items on the bottom and the more fragile items on top.”

If you want a short term gig you could work giving classes on grocery bagging.
The current crop doesn’t have a clue, they throw stuff in a paper bag the same way they do plastic. I usually bag my own.

“Also, it takes 10 of those plastic bags to bag what would normally fit into just 3 or 4 paper bags.”

Some people won’t believe you. I know you’re right but some folks just won’t agree.

I did the paper bag to book cover too.
School charged a couple of pennies per book cover so I used the old store bags for free.
I’ve been repurposing things my whole life.
