Attorney General Jeff Sessions pushed back against President Donald Trump on Thursday, saying in a statement released by a spokesperson that the Department of Justice would not be "improperly influenced by political considerations" hours after Trump attacked him on television.
"I took control of the Department of Justice the day I was sworn in, which is why we have had unprecedented success at effectuating the President's agenda," Sessions said in the statement which was posted on Twitter by Justice Department spokesperson Sarah Isgur Flores.

I'd say I want whatever you're smoking but I haven't done drugs in a lonnnnnnnng time.
This is a distancing technique. You have two options to believe...One, Trump is going to fire Sessions, two, the Justice Department is about to unveil some of those 45,000 sealed indictments that are going to have some names that will cause a stir. Personally I think the odds favor the second option.
Currently watching what Trump is doing.
Letting some AG, (That cost him a Senate seat) who is controlled opposition for the Statist, recuse himself from some idiotic investigation that is wasting millions of tax payers’ hard earned dollars.
There is no heat on Clinton/Obama/Pelosi(”Tunagate”)/FBI corruption (Firing some debased idiot who could not control himself in front of Senators is not much of an overhaul), and anti-trust issues involving network externalities; instead we have an AG who supplements his Viagra with going after individuals involved with weeds.
Grassley is also behind dumping Traitor Sessions.
FIIIIIIIRRRRRREEEE HIIIIIIMMMM!!!!! WTF????
Coffee Drinker, I stand with you. Characterizing buffoon AG Sessions gives him time & space to operate. A magnificent plan that fuels the omnipresent bonfires of vanity.
He took the job then recused himself
Conpare and contrast to Eric Witholder
I’m sure there are some incredibly intelligent posts above this but I’m kinda busy now with work. I just think that AG Sessions may have been the “ultimate” insurance policy in the Deep State plot. Put a deep state guy in early “just in case” and then after the election, they hit the motherlode with him being appointed AG. Makes sense. Anyhoo....
What friggin planet is Sessions on ? Its a political appointment fercryinoutloud
I tried/hoped to believe that the 1st year, but now real damage is being inflicted on this president. I now face the harsh reality that in his 30 years in the senate, Sessions became a member of the swamp.

That is a very good description of what has been going on. sessions set himself up as a friend... was selected for AG and he immediately recused himself and the crew out to get Trump was put directly in charge. I wonder if there are any texts or such, from them after sessions recused and they had what they wanted.
It’s stll possible for them to get what they wanted.
Just think about it.. sessions has done NOTHING about all hillary has done.. she did all they are trying to lay on Trump and sessions has done nothing. just letting them destroy Trump.
Trump had better release/declassify everything he can, to get it all out there before November. If the dems win, there will be a flood of things put out... but it wont be the truth! Trump had better get everything there is, released... in time to counteract the media’s daily tales to their audience before november

Darkest hour is just before Dawn. Nobody here knows WTF is up or down. Justice is the Lord’s. Look at the bright side of life and stay healthy. Swamps are complicated.
When it comes to Trump, don’t listen to what he says. WATCH WHAT HE DOES.

That’s kinda the problem. I don’t see him doing anything about the DOJ problem except tweet.
Then the simplest explanation is that he’s perfectly fine with the DOJ and doesn’t see a “problem” — right?
Spot-on analysis...

Sessions has been compromised and is an obstructionist to the rule of law, applying it as a political tool. He might has well left Eric Holder in charge!
Seriously, what does this guy actually do all day?
Elections are going to have consequences for you Mr. Sessions.
And they aint good.
He is either a prize idiot or he is being blackmailed by the Dems.
I am personally leaning towards this second possibility.
LOL Zeugma. No drugs for me just my little humble opinion.
I will however back up my thoughts with bet’s... Paypal/gift card you know, to make this debate more interesting.
