In today's world Mexico's a perfect example - it's the land of 'cheap labor'. Mexicans will happily work for a buck an hour... and their country is a hellhole. A few rich and many dirt poor.
Cheap labor's a short term addictive fix that stops better solutions.... Why develop and pay for research to create a machine that picks cherries and grapes when labor is cheap?
Mass production and industrialization made our country powerful not the labor of slaves or slaves/lite Mexicans...
The Mexican drug cartels are awash with billions of dollars. Yeah the democrats need the illegals to vote illegally in order to win elections. The establishment RINOS need illegals for the cheap labor in order to keep the big business donations coming in. Clearly, they all put the American people last in their legislative considerations. I surmise there is a bigger reason those in DC continue to put the American people last and refuse to close the boarder and enforce the law; Mexican drug cartel monies flooding into the pockets of the DC political class. Time for the US Military to step up and clean out the DC swamp. It’s ether that or another unavoidable civil war.

It’s all extremely frustrating and aggravating. I live in a midwest ag state and I can tell you there is not one candidate here who will ever run for any ticket that will go up against big ag/commerce and their desire for illegal alien labor and tax payer subsidies... not one. So what is a voter left to do? The only thing I can think of is not to vote at all.. in state and local elections.
Just this morning on the radio I heard locals griping about how much economic damage Trump’s tariffs are doing because they can’t ship their surplus wheat/ soybeans etc. to China and it better get fixed.. yesterday. Big ag is a giant monopolistic lobby and until it is taken down and its influence destroyed we will have open borders and illegals that kill, rape and steal.
The list of victims is certainly sad. I looked for the name Dru Sjodin on the list. it was not there.
Dru was abducted at knifepoint by Alfonso Rodriguez, Jr. from a Grand Forks mall in late 2003. Her photo was all over the national news, especially Fox News. Her body was found in spring in northern Minnesota.
Rodriguez was a known level 3 sex offender who had just gotten out of jail in 2003 when he struck again. When I checked the story online, there is no mention of his immigration status. I am now curious about it. Back in 2003, we were not so aware of any links between crime and illegals.
They allowed the conditions to exist.. and have done nowhere near enough to restore the rule of law.. and not of anarchy and chaos.

Open borders policy is a Democrat Party policy. The immigration laws of the United States are the implementation of the Democrat Party policy. To be sure, some Republicans have cooperated in some ways, but the policy and the government’s behavior prior to Donald Trump’s election are a result of a deliberate policy crafted by the Democrats to import voters necessary to bring the Democrats back into power and to keep it in perpetuity. They view a few murders, lawlessness, and piles of filth in every city park is a small price for their ultimate goal: complete political power.
