“IOW, Sessions is not indispensable or the only person who can prosecute Clinton, Comey, Mueller, Ohr, Strzok, and so on.”

Maybe he is not the only one who CAN, but is there anyone else there who WILL?

Can’t let that many traitors walking free; they’ll move their treason to a new address. Manafort, Flynn and all the others persecuted by Mueller and his band of criminals are financially ruined. Indict first, break them financially, THEN fire them.

Remains to be seen. Is a test of the integrity of the institution.

I personally think the institution is rotten to the core, as is pretty much every instutution under the federal government umbrella. None of them is trustworthy.

With his recusal, Sessions fails to serve at the direction of the president. His refusal to resign in this debacle is evidence of his absence of principle.

Obviously, you lack the "conflict of interest" principle.

I mean, if following the president is the touchstone, Holder was the best, and Sessions should emulate the principles of the Obama and Holder combo.

I'm up for it. I don't expect the government to have principle, but at least I have the right to call it (and you) out as unprincipled.

You are likely intellectually dishonest too. Dime a dozen, I have no use for you, and hold you and your kind in pretty deep contempt.

I really really hope you do the same for me.

Before any injunction Trump can fire them for disobeying an order.

I don't care if the Deep State waves impeachment like a bloody flag.

Congress absolutely has a Constitutional right of oversight.

I'd rather THAT be the argument before SCOTUS.

I think the GOP needs to begin impeachment proceedings NOW, so they can get it all on the table, before the democrats have a chance to do so next year, and bring out all the Deep State hi-jinks before the nation.

Subpoena Brennen, Clapper, Comey, Steele, both Ohrs, and all the others.

Those who still think Trump and Sessions have some 3D rope a dope
plan are delutional.
Sessions is an AWOL AG regarding the biggest scandals in American
History.
He should resign. Go back to Alabama and grow watermelons.

This misdirection and Trump's public anger against Sessions only leaves Sessions backed by Dems when these documents are dropped. Trump gets even with enemies which Dems and the deep state made themselves out to be....all this dirt is going to drop in time for the elections, right on schedule. Sessions will have been publicly defended by Dems on tv over and over with plenty of tape to rerun.

Trump's anger at Sessions is real. There is no misdirection. The misdirection wouldn't help Sessions or more importantly it wouldn't help Trump a bit. In fact it would hurt Trump more, forcing Trump to be involved with the document release.

Excellent points all.

If Rosenstein doesn’t comply, Trump has good reason to fire him.

And we know now that there is no Trump campaign Russian collusion now after over a year of this witch hunt. Nothing Sessions needs to recuse himself from when the tides turn.

Read my tag line and wake up. Sessions is not just recused from Russian collusion. Sessions is "recused from everything", or at least all things "connected" to the campaign and all things related to Hillary, who was of course "connected" to the campaign.

From my point of view, Sessions recusal is well taken. It's based on a good principle that conflict of interest is to be avoided. DOJ is a big house, and the absence of any single player should not break the function of the operation. IOW, Sessions is not indispensable or the only person who can prosecute Clinton, Comey, Mueller, Ohr, Strzok, and so on.

Rosenstein is conflicted and should have been recused by Sessions. Mueller is conflicted and never should have been appointed.

At the very least, Sessions as AG, should have recused Rosenstein, before Rosenstein picked Mueller.

Sessions' principles are not "good", they are principles of selfishness and cowardice.

Democrats are never held to account for consistency in the media. They can love him now and turn on a dime to hate him later, and not have a care about how their controlled media will frame the issue. The argument that Sessions action (or inaction) is part of some sting setup is complete fantasy and ridiculous wishful thinking. This will be won or lost without Sessions ever playing a part - except by his absence - in any of the proceeding. He’s out in a pasture, aka Ferdinand, sniffing flowers while the war goes on around him.

Great, One way to deal with gutless, do nothing and incompetent Sessions without going through the political upheaval of replacing him is for Trump to start acting like a shadow AG - after all constitutionally he has the power over all the departments.

Odd how this “conflict of interest” principle didn’t exist for JFK/RFK.

-- Odd how this "conflict of interest" principle didn't exist for JFK/RFK. --

The conflict regulations are separate and different from the anti-nepotism regulation.

Conflict is a case by case factor. A prosecutor should not be involved in a case he or she has an interest in. Or maybe Loretta Lynbch should have exonerated Hillary after meeting with Bill, if conflict is of no matter. That would have spared Comey from stepping out of his investigator box and into the prosecutor's box.

The JFK/RFK arrangement, approved by Congress, was later rejected by Congress. Lesson? Congress has no principles either.

The documents Trump will order declassified are known-knowns, and he will ensure they see the light of day. Trump has the proof, the evidence, and all legitimate legal team working night and day to put together the entire spectrum of holding people accountable by using those declassified documents to prosecute. I am sure they have preplanned and troubleshoot the entire process per individual arrest warrant, the charges in place, all possible explanations, and the proof to bring charges and convict. TRUMP is not playing with either Hillary or Barry.

Spot on. See tagline.

Two great things will result from when Trump fires Sessions (right after midterms, imo):

1. A REAL AG with killer instincts will have Comey arrested fast (leaking classified info), followed by the rest of them.

2. It will finally shut the Qooks up.
