Mark Penn, the former pollster for both Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton, has penned an op-ed in The Hill Wednesday in which he argues that Michael Cohens guilty plea shows the double standard that prosecutors have applied unfairly to Donald Trump.
Penn argues that while what Trump is alleged to have done paying Stormy Daniels for a non-disclosure agreement she had sought for five years prior to the election was legal, Hillary Clinton failed to report campaign expenditures that led to the Steele dossier.
If anyone broke campaign finance law, Penn argues, it was Clinton, not Trump but prosecutors want Trump out of office.

I was thinking more in line of if the house is safe and we have a massive pickup in the senate (which should occur) then trump safely fires sessions and gets a real ag that will kick ass.
I love that way of thinking. I’m just feeling a bit cynical lately because it seems like there’s never any progress with holding the criminal dems accountable for their actions. That, and we’re constantly told that good stuff is coming soon... just around the corner ‘til some kind of ‘boom’ event happens... and then it ends up being a nothingburger. My breath holding days are over.
Thank the Lord, the truth will eventually prevail, but this waiting is agonizing.
Early Bird, I wish I had your optimism. With all the immunity deals Obama administration gave out, we may get the truth, but I don’t know if anyone will be prosecuted. And it’ll all have to be overwhelming, because the MSM will NOT report ANYTHING negative about democrats -— it’s as if none of it happened.
There have been SO many “booms”, but MSM refuse to report them, and the DOJ is blind, deaf, and mute. When you point out some of the facts to democrats, they either explode, or look at you blankly, yawn, and say, “oh? I don’t know anything about that. It hasn’t been in the news...”, remaining blissfully ignorant.
