John Schnatter, the ousted founder of Papa Johns Pizza, escalated his battle with his former companys board on Wednesday, launching a website for the purpose of getting the truth to the public.
Entitled SavePapaJohns.com, the website includes links to legal documents, press releases and letters related to his dispute with the board, which removed him from its marketing campaigns and banned him from making media appearances last July. In a message to readers, Schnatter accused the board of trying to silence him and said he misses his customers and former employees.

Schnatter was convicted without a trial. And there is no appeal.
If he wanted to save his pizza chain he never should have taken it public. Donald Trump is Exhibit A in the case for keeping your company ownership under your own control.
Schnatter should start a new pizza company - hes got the money and Id buy from him.
Then - once his old company collapses from the weight of their own hubris - he can buy it back like his old Camaro.
And the new one should really have better ingredients and better pizza. Not just a slogan.
Reminds me of the ousting of the Men’s Wearhouse guy, George Zimmer..
Maybe they can team up. The Zimmer-Schnatter Pizza & Suit Emporium could be a hit.
Clever.
Yep. AND should make sure people know they are not supportive of the NFL.
Papa John’s has been my favorite pizza for more than 20 years. However, when they decided to dump their founder old Papa J, that was the end of my business. I was not happy they advertised with the NFL but then again without the NFL which I no longer watch, I don’t need as much pizza either.
I never did hear the actual story on that - just that he did something bad and got unpersoned.
Papa Don’s-—like in Trump
Would that work?
Trump Pizza - made orange with a cheddar cheese blend and served with Diet Coke!
If ya wanna save it, make a decent product.
On a conference call, he apparently quoted Col. Sanders using the N-word, and that was it.
I meant the Mens Wearhouse guy. :)
A country in which you are fired as CEO for quoting someone using the “n word” is not a free country.

Buy a suit, get a free pizza. Buy a pizza, get a free suit.
NFL = Papa Johns = Liberals.
No thanks to any of them.
I would patronize and even invest in ANY new venture of John Schnatter. I stopped buying from PJ after the NFL kerfuffle.
