Generic Congressional Ballot: Generic Congressional Ballot Is Dead Even
Rasmussen ^ | August 22, 2018 | Rasmussen

Posted on 08/22/2018 10:46:12 AM PDT by familyop

For the first time in months, Democrats and Republicans are tied on the Rasmussen Reports Generic Congressional Ballot.

The latest telephone and online survey finds that 44% of Likely U.S. Voters would choose the Democratic candidate if the elections for Congress were held today. Another 44% would now opt for the Republican. Three percent (3%) prefer some other candidate, and eight percent (8%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

A week ago, Democrats held a 48% to 41% lead on the generic ballot.

This is why Cohen’s plea was released simultaneous to Manafort. They probably were sitting on it and did it to try to kill morale in Trump’s rising base.

It won’t work.

It’s probably better for Trump to have both happen on the same day. Like pulling off a Band-Aid.

the left stays stuck on hate and stupidy. because their BS plays well with their circle jerk, they think it plays well else where.

What the media and Mueller are demonstrating is why Trump won to begin with.

O-M-G! If a normally Dem oversampled poll shows that... Red wave incoming.

Make it so!

Also, I think there are a decent number of middle-of-the-road types who can smell a rat, and instinctively know that Trump’s enemies have unfairly bludgeoned him the very second he won, with no honeymoon period.

Remember the day after the election with all the violent rioting, and then Jill Stein and other leftists trying to both challenge the results, and then begging electors to change their votes? The guy hasn’t had a second to breathe without being bludgeoned.

a LOT of people out there instinctively know in their hearts that this kind of treatment is fundamentally unfair.

Yep... IMMIC in 94' they were up +8 and via over-sampling they were actually down, now I might be off on that +8, but you get my point. I don't see the Blue Wave, Manafort / Cohen or whatever the blank they throw at us.

We are pulling the lever for the Trumpian candidates and their isn't a bleeping thing they can do from stopping us from doing so.

I say again the seats he will pick up in the Senate is going to be a shocker I still say 10 to 13, and if he runs the table and the trend continues, MN, NM, NJ, MA, MI and CT are not out of the question McCaskill is toast politically in MO after her gaft the other day.

Yesterday I met Karin Housley, the Republican candidate for US Senate from Minnesota. She is running against Tina Smith who was appointed to fill the vacated seat of Al Franken. Tina is a radical leftist and former President of Minnesota Planned Parenthood.

Karin is now within the margin of error in polls against Tina Smith. Two months ago she trailed by about 10 points.

We need help in Minnesota to get our message out there about how radical Tina is. Tina is still a relative unknown, so is vulnerable when her record is made known among the outstate voters.

Karin supports the First and Second amendments, secure borders, etc., and is a Trump voter. If you want to help flip a Dem seat to the GOP, go to Karin Housley for US Senate.

Oh, by-the-way, if you are a hockey fan, Karin’s husband is Phil Housley, Hockey Hall of Fame member and now coach of the Buffalo Sabres in the NHL.

>>Maybe this will all backfire on the dimoKKKRATS.

The problem is they forgot Bill Clinton. Clinton was barraged by bad press, impeachment, and scandal with a booming economy at the end of his term. Trump’s at the beginning of his term, facing the same thing.

After a year, 60% of the people watching gloss over and actually start feeling defensive about someone’s that constantly attacked. The democrats are getting this backlash and, regardless of whether he effectively fends them off or not, has the trend going his way into the midterm.

I have learned to trust Trump. I remember the p**** grab comment and the third debate and was dreading Hillary destroying him. Instead, he uttered, “because you’d be in jail” and won the election.

it was a given that the leftist fake stream enemedia would tighten their fake polls to closer reflect reality as election day approaches ...

A lot of “undecided” is really “unwilling to say”.

If we had the election now, the Dems would lose massively, even with vote fraud.

And yet she is not and no process appears to be underway that would send her there.

That’s going to be a deal-breaker for Trump 2020 if it remains that way.

The real irony is that if the Democrats worked with Trump they could have got some of what they wanted and that would have problem weakened his support among some of his base (Which could have driven him from office). By going crazy for two years there is no chance that Republican VOTERS will leave him. He’s probably harder to beat when ALL of the political class is against him...maybe a better President for it .
