Ed Rollins: There Will Be No Blue Wave, Republicans Will Hold The House And Senate

Candace Owens and veteran Republican strategist Ed Rollins discuss conservative claims of social media censorship and the 2018 midterms on Sunday Morning Futures with host Maria Bartiromo.

"There's no blue wave out there," Rollins predicted. "The Senate, which we had big opportunities, have not turned out to be quite so. There's probably five to eight Senate seats on both sides that are in play. I think we will hold the Senate, and I think we will hold the House. Margins may be smaller in the House, but it's certainly going to hold it."

Rollins said no president has dominated the media, cable news, and social media like President Trump. He said media companies see his influence as a "threat."

"No president, no candidate has ever dominated the media, both the cable news, the social media, what have you," Rollins said Sunday morning. "He understands it well. His people understand it well. And I think to a certain extent, they see it as a threat."

Let’s hope so. I think all of the Democrat’s hysteria will increase the turnout on the Republican side. People are sick of their hate.

Is Ed Rollins trying to take Dick Morris’ place as the GOP election cheerleader? I hope he’s right but history is on the side of the Dems at least taking the House. In recent history, a party rarely maintains control of all branches for 4 years.

There will be no Blue Wave because:

1. According to polls, there’s many more Mexicans & Blacks who now approve Trump is going to help some mid-term candidates.

2. More importantly, there were possibly several million voters who simply didn’t vote for Trump because he was an unknown and MSM had them believing that he would be such a loose cannon.

Now that Trump is a proven entity and has been very capable, they’re in the Trump camp and will likely vote more conservative in their mid-term elections. Many Independents & RINOS fit this category.

3. Finally, Trump will be doing major campaigning ahead of the midterms – so energetically. Because he knows a lot rests on this mid-term election.

Um. Leah Vukmir would NOT have defeated Nichols if she ‘turned off’ Wisconsin Trump supporters. We turned out for her.

Leah won Dane & Milwaukee counties, which is HUGE. Yes, she won less counties than Nichols did, but she’s already on the road shoring up places where she can win against Tammy this fall.

Those (R) voters who voted for Nichols are NOT going to suddenly flip for the ‘Rats.

Polls right now are favoring Tammy, but those are all the usual left-leaning polls that tout this stuff. And I hope they keep it up! I WANT complacent Dem voters come fall that think Tammy has it in the bag; they’ll be less inclined to put down the bong and go out to vote. ;)
